Wasn't the Millennium Naval Gun System developed to fullfil CIWS tasks?
In the DB, munition #2023 35mm Oerlikon Millennium GDM-008 AHEAD Burst has an Air PoH of 25% against air targets and is not able to target missiles & guided weapons. Unfortunatly, Rheinmetall has taken down all product information from their website but I'm almost sure that the Millennium, in combination with its AHEAD ammunition, is capable of engaging sea-skimmers and such. This is my interpretation but the arrangement of the Millenniums aboard the Absalon-class or Venezuelan vessels conclude that these were meant to provide point-defense capabilities against ASMs. Also, the German MANTIS C-RAM (Oerlikon Skyshield) uses the same Millennium Gun Turret and a slightly modified type of AHEAD ammunition. As for the onboard optical sensor, there's nothing on the web but all I can tell is that it is used if the gun is controlled manually.

http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?/topic/29-gdm-008-aka-millennium-35mm-naval-gun-system/

Will see if I can find more on the optical FCS later the week.

I'd very appreciate if you could look this one up!

DB #2000 "Lizard LGB [Mk84]"
is using the wrong warhead (a Mk82 500lbs GPB instead of Mk84 2000lbs GPB).

[UPDATED DB pre-v436]

I copy some sentences by wiki page.

Mikoyan MiG-35(Fulcrum-F)

MiG-35: Single-seat variant.
MiG-35D: Two-seat variant.

In May 2013, it was reported that Russia plans to order 37 aircraft. On 17 August 2013, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the purchase worth 37 billion rubles ($1.1 billion) will be delayed until 2016. The delay was caused by state arms spending cuts.

In April 2014, it was reported that Egypt plans to order 24 MiG-35 fighters as part of a US$3 billion arms deal. Israeli intelligence believes a deal for the Russian fighters for Egypt is unlikely, given that it gets military aid from the United States and operates a large fleet of over 200 American F-16 fighters.

[MOSTLY UPDATED/ADDED DB pre-436, some details uncertain]

about Russian and Indian Mig-29K
#920 - MiG-29K Fulcrum D and #3320 - MiG-29K Fulcrum D in database

Air-to-ground

in database Indian Mig-29K for some reasons cant use Kh-31P
both planes cant use Kh-31AD,Kh-31PD,Kh-25(ML,MP)

this is wrong

from oficial MIG corporation site Mig-29K can take up to 4 Kh-31P (or up to 4 KAB-500Kr,Kh-35U,Kh-31A):
http://www.migavia.ru/index.php/en/prod ... =1&start=2
photo Mig-29k with 4 Kh-35U:
http://russianplanes.net/id136472
photo Mig-29k with 4 Kh-31:
http://russianplanes.net/id77421
from official site of KTRV Mig-29K can use Kh-31PD,Kh-31AD
http://eng.ktrv.ru/production_eng/323/511/565/
http://eng.ktrv.ru/production_eng/323/512/564/
Mig-29K can use Kh-25ML,Kh-25MP
http://russianplanes.net/id125405
http://cdn2.img22.ria.ru/images/90670/41/906704188.jpg
http://www.testpilot.ru/russia/vympel/r ... 29_r77.jpg

also,MiG-29K can possibly use Kh-59MK2 since his 4 pylons for heavy load are AKU-58AE and according to MKB "Vympel" AKU-58AE can use Kh-29,31,58,59
from site of MKB "Vympel":
http://vympelmkb.com/products/prod05/ in russian
photo of Kh-59MK2 near Mig-29K on MAKS-2009:
http://russianplanes.net/id145787
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_o_no4M2xEPY/S ... .jpg.Large
Kh-59MK2 is modification of the X-59MK designed to engage stationary ground targets (inertial navigation+GLONASS+Optical Electronic guidance system and therefore does not require APK-9 pod)
http://eng.ktrv.ru/production_eng/323/513/539/

old soviet Mig-29K can use Kh-29T so it is posible that new Mig-29K also can use Kh-29T
photo old Mig-29K with Kh-29T
http://www.k2x2.info/transport_i_aviaci ... pic_86.jpg

Also,MiG-29K have tanker configuration
photo from MAKS-2009 Mig-29K with UPAZ:
http://bastion-karpenko.narod.ru/MiG-29 ... 11_012.JPG

So, Mig-29K have two main layout for air-to-ground,
Long range 2 A2G weapons + 2 1150 liter drop tanks + 1 1500 liter drop tank + 2 R-77 + 2 R-73
Short range 4 A2G weapons + 1 1500 liter drop tank +2 R-77 + 2 R-73

there is one exception if A2G missile or bomb weight more than 700 kg ( Kh-29T,Kh-29L,Kh-31PD,Kh-31AD,Kh-59MK2)
instead of 2 R-77 + 2 R73 in both short and long range loadouts it wil be 4 R-73
like here:
Image

Air-to-Air

According to RSK "Mig" Mig-29K theoretically can take up to 6 R-77 missiles
here is photos of Mig-29K with 6 R-77
http://russianplanes.net/id140819
http://russianplanes.net/id140661
so air-to-air loadouts for Mig-29 should looks like:
Long range : 4 R-77 + 2 R-73 + 2 1150 liter drop tanks + 1 1500 liter drop tank (currently exist in database)
Short range :6 R-77 + 2 R-73 + 1 1500 liter drop tank ( based on photos above)

also if you add Mig-29KUB to database
only difference betveen Mig-29KUB and Mig-29K is 300 litres tank

also in database Su-30MKI can take 2 Brahmos, this is wrong
Max load for Su-30 MKI pylon is 1700 kg, air launched Brahmos weight is 2550 kg + weight of AKU
so 1 Brahmos can only fit on two pylons between engines:

[UPDATED DB pre-v436]

I worked out some changes regarding the Mi-35M Hind in the game.

First off, all below mentioned platforms should get an ASO-2V flare dispenser (with 6x32 cartridges).

http://www.artem.ua/index.php?article=zaschita-aso&lang=en&PHPSESSID=13868ace1720427f257c17cae1d4dc20
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jynS94WPoYQ/UWdgikabuvI/AAAAAAAAHvw/cLSaP72lnBI/s1600/Ricardo+Pereira-2.jpg

Also, replace the AT-16 Scallion [9k121 Vikhr] with the AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V] in all loadouts used for all Mi-35's!

- #3716 Mi-35M Hind -- Indonesia

Indonesia operates the Mi-35P instead of the export success Mi-35M, so lets start of with adjusting this first.

Image

Replace the Gsh-23L 23mm canon with a Gsh-30-2K 30mm canon.
As already requested above, replace the AT-16 Scallion [9k121 Vikhr] with the AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V].

http://indomiliter.com/2012/05/01/at-9-spiral-2-rudal-pelibas-tank-milik-penerbad-tni-ad/
http://indomiliter.com/2014/09/15/mil-mi-35p-the-flying-ifv-pencipta-teror-dari-udara/ (ASO-2V depicted as well)

As there are several images, it would make sense to edit the existing loadout #18395 AT-16 Scallion [9k121 Vikhr] to following:

- AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V] (1)(2)

2x UPK-23-250 23mm Gun Pod
40x S-8KO 80mm rockets
4x AT-9 Spiral-2 [9M120 Ataka-V]
(8x Trooper)

- AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V], Long-Range (1)(2)(3)

2x 450 liter drop tank (PTB-450 drop tank)
40x S-8KO 80mm rockets
4x AT-9 Spiral-2 [9M120 Ataka-V]
(8x Trooper)

- #3744 Mi-35M Hind -- Iraq

Switching the AT-16 Scallion [9k121 Vikhr] with the AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V] and applying the changes to the loadouts is all that needs to be done here. However, I'd like to request the standard loadout Iraq employs during their operations against ISIS.

- AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V], Light (1)(2)(3)

- #2946 Mi-35M Hind [AH-2 Sabre] -- Brazil

Besides fixing the existing loadouts, I'm suggesting these two:

- AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V], Light (1 (around 2:00min there are some good close-ups on the AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V]))
- AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V], Long-Range (1)

http://portaldefesa.com/site/index.php/artigos/armaseequipamentos/3360-ah-2-sabre-o-trovao-alado.html

- #1057 Mi-35M2 Hind -- Venezuela

Some more changes. Propossing to change the name to Mi-35M2 Hind [Caribe].

As for the loadouts, I'd like to suggest adding following to the existing once:

- AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V], Light (1)(2)(3)
- S-8KO 80mm Rockets, Light (1)

40x S-8KO 80mm rockets
2x UPK-23-250 23mm Gun Pod
(8x Trooper)

- #458 Mi-24VM Hind E -- Russia

And finally, for the Russian Mi-24VM, which is the domestic version of the Mi-35M.

Replace the fixed Gsh-30-2K 30mm canon with a Gsh-23L 23mm canon.
Replace the S-5K 57mm rockets with S-8KO 80mm rockets.
Given one of the sources below you could add the S-13B 122mm rockets to the aircrafts weaponry.

- #2223 Mi-17V5 Hip H -- Venezuela

When Venezuela purchased their Mi-17/Mi-35 helicopters, it seems they were looking to buy equipment that was interchangeable between both platforms. This is justified by several pictures. Unfortunatly, I can't back my statement with any written source.

Replace the S-5K 57mm rockets with the S-8KO 80mm rockets and apply the changes to the loadouts. One proposal for a Venezuelan Mi-17 COIN loadout:

- S-8KO 80mm rockets, Light (1)(2)(3)

40x S-8KO 80mm rockets
2x UPK-23-250 23mm Gun Pod

http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5409/elberet545.66/0_63c44_73d32304_orig (Great source for the Mi-35M, showing flare dispenser and compatible armament!)
http://www.russianhelicopters.aero/ru/press/publications/3953.html

It appears that the Mi-35 can't carry the AT-16 Scallion... or for some reason doesn't field it right now. There are pictures available for the AT-9 Spiral-2 [9k120 Ataka-V] carried by all Mi-35 variants in the DB. I guess the AT-16 Scallion [9k121 Vikhr] isn't carried by any export Mi-35, nor the Russian Mi-24VM. Anyways, that's just my 2 cent thoughts. That's a ton of changes/fixes. Take your time and dicide what might be a reasonable addition to the game.

Thanks!

[UPDATED / ADDED pre-v436 + v437]

Couple of database requests/points:
- There seem to be two 2008 USAF MQ-9B Reaper entries? DBID 1719 and 3686. Only difference seems to be that the latter has 1 x ASIP-2C COMINT.
- MQ-9B appears to be using GBU-49 operationally. Judging by the picture here a 4 x GBU-49 load might be possible? Cant confirm that though, anyone else know?
- Netherlands could get an MQ-9 entry, unarmed, probably around 2017 timeframe. Notification here, looks like it will happen. DB wise probably a copy of the French/Italian one?
- NATO looks like it might buy some A330 MRTTs for the future, 2019/20 timeframe? DB wise probably similar to the Australian KC-30 (boom and drogue equipped)
- Netherlands F-16s getting GBU-39 SDBs this year (Dutch article). So I would suggest adding GBU-39 loadouts to the 2015 config. Maybe in the future I will ask for a split between SDB and AIM-9X 2015 config and 2014 AIM-9M / GBU-49 config but for now it's okay.

Note that I dont urgently need any of the above points so no need to rush them or anything, just adding them for the "when there is time" list :)

I saw this confirmed in the March edition of Combat Aircraft. Testing had been completed and the SDB was considered operational.

[*]#??? - Nahar [FLIR][/color]
Please create a new 3rd generation Infrared, Navigation FLIR.

"The Nahar navigation FLIR is housed in the pylon that attaches the Shehab pod to the aircraft and can be used with or without the pod installed. Incorporating a high-resolution camera, Nahar is designed for use in all atmospheric conditions, particularly hot and humid climates. It provides a high-resolution infrared image of the area forward of the aircraft. This image is projected onto the pilot’s head-up display or another cockpit display to support the pilot during all mission phases, including takeoff and landing, flight, low-level navigation and strikes on ground or surface targets."

No specifications data unfortunately.
