Time to give you all an update on where I am.

India[/b]:[/b]  things are now static with no air raids from either side.  Now that I have Spits, our hero seems reluctant to bring the fight to me, but instead is content to sit in his bivouac and drink rice wine.  I am still much to weak to be able to think about an offensive, but OTOH I am now too strong for Honda to think about taking Karachi.  Stalemate for the next few years or at least until the South African Divisions show up.

China[/b]:[/b]  slowly being killed off but not as fast as the sly one would have hopped.  I bet that honda is shittinghimself that ol’ uncle Joe Stalin will come screaming down to avenge his commo brothers.

PI:[/b]  Believe it or not I still have a sizable amount of troops sitting on their arse in the PI just south of manila.  However I am not able to get any shipping into them to either evacuate or to reinforce them.  Honda has had bigger fish to fry these last six months and is happy to let them rot.

DEI:[/b] Again I have small groups scattered here and there which our resident JFB has only recently decided to do something about.  They are no threat to him and again I am not able to get any supplies to them.

PNG:[/b] Troops in PM and dying on the vine….bombed day in and day out…they are little more than target practice.

Australia[/b]:[/b]  Brisbane is the only major centre left and although I have full strength forts and pharking great supplies I cannot see this place lasting more than two months tops.  They are getting the stuffing bombed out of them and the BB bombardment TFs are killing me.
 [/b]
NZ:[/b]  A hive of activity………THIS is where hero Honda will strike next.

Central Pacific:[/b]  Bugger all to say….PH is my Malta here

The Aleutians:[/b]  I had a sudden fear a few months ago that he might make a move so I have posted enough PBYs to this area that when they are flying it looks like a bloody great big aluminium cloud.  Not even a bee’s fart could go undetected here.
 [/b]
The West Coast:[/b]  This is THE hub of all future war fighting efforts….from here the factories are pumping out aircraft and ships numbering in the thousands ready to take back the world for ALL peace loving peoples.

Interesting stuff...Funny thing though, Raver keeps talking about me invading Karachi when I have repeatedly been telling him for the last 5 months that Karachi is not an option for me because it would entail an unrealistic removal of Brits from the war. Raver, I'M NOT GOING FOR KARACHI![:D] In fact, I got much more then I wanted in India. When the whole subcontinent opened up for me, it took me a few days even to decide to occupy it. Now that I have, I'm glad I did.

So far, the fighting on the crossroads has claimed some 30k casulties on both sides. That's a rate I can afford, all the more since my losses are mostly wounded/damaged doe to good supply situation. Chinese are cut off and starving and don't see them getting out of this one.

This little ship has managed to slip through every possible trap I could lay before him. Subs and aircraft simply refuse to engage this crippled ship and now it's one day from safty of New Zealand.

I've been watching DD Smith......the captain is a Hero !   The combined might of the IJN and IJAAF have failed to sink it.  Once she is repaired i will use her as the vessel that your surrender documents will be signed on in Tokyo Bay. [:D]

I agree that Smith should be the vessel to bring US envoy to the armistice signing. No more, no less.

Minesweeper,
thanks! But don't let all the surrender talk fool you. This game is an all nighter. It's over, God willing, in '46...
