ASW attack near Sydney at 38,125

Japanese Ships
SS I-121, hits 1, on fire

Allied Ships
DD Balch
DD Flusser
DD Lamson
DD Mahan
DD Drayton
DD Dunlap
DD Ellet
DD McCall

another example that shows me I´m not lucky with this game... BUT this shouldn´t have even happened. The as usual not working game made it possible that I had to go in TWICE to Sydney as last turn there were no mines laid... we return today, find a 8!! ships ASW TF (house rule about 6 ships...) of which destroyer number 7!! (that shouldn´t be in the TF anyway) achieves O N E real hit and my sub is dead now... retiring with 13/80/0... [8|][8|] I think I have yet to sink a sub with one DC hit in all my thousands of turns... Normally it´s hard to sink them with a 250kg bomb...

why the game rates a sub in sinking condition not even heavily damaged is a mystery to me...

The Chinese are bringing more and more troops to Changsha! The av grew nearly 1200 points this turn... with level 9 forts for sure we will take some serious losses if we attack here against that amount of troops... I have problems here and in the Philipinese to get my air strikes launched...

Norfolk Island wasn´t expected to be a dangerous zone. In fact, the base was empty but at some point there must have been a Dutch minelayer at the base...
