If available Mistmatz has the right choice. Digital download to get the game the first day with a hardcopy and manual in the mail.

Why? Just burn a copy of the DL to CD and write the serial number on the disc. The end.

I want the printed color manual. [8D]

Exactly!

EDIT: and I want the box! I have this nice little Hall of Fame of CD cases on the shelf above my monitor: UV. WITP, WPO. AE will look so nice sitting up there with them!

I took an option with more risk involved.

Last year I sent Terminus an enveloped stuffed full of cash. In return he said that on day 1 of release, Don and Joe would show up at my place with a boxed copy of WITP-AE and as long as I fed them they would stay for a whole week giving me lessons on all the new stuff in it.

I hope that Terminus let Don and Joe in on the deal.

I will order a digital download and the physical copy. And I will burn a copy to a CD. And I will keep a copy in my 600+lb gunsafe. The only thing in my house that might outlast my copy of AE is the cockroaches.

You sure did. Joe and Don dont know how it works. They only know their little corner of it.

Now I might know a tester that knows something about it

Who said the manual is in color? I'm pretty sure the delay is due to the slowness of the scribes, all locked up in the back room, scratching out manuals using only black ink. [:'(]

It sounded like such a good deal at the time.[:)][:)][:)]

Oh well then, DD and boxed will do for me.

I am sure Terminus will send my money back if he can't meet the obligations of our agreement. As he wouldn't want to tarnish his reputation, nor have Irish people everywhere "looking" for him...[:D]

Actually, now that you've mentioned feeding them chances are good that they'll show up anyway. You might have to stock up on beer to get answers out of them, though.
