Tanks on the other hand...I never get enough spare money to either buy a tank factory or their units. I think you need them late game though, if fighting the French or Greeks. I prefer Armoured Trains however....

The only tanks Reds used during RCW were those captured on Whites. Frankly, I will let the option for fun, but Russian industry was just unable after 1917 to build one tank, even under foreign license.

Now thats true - Russian Industry was both decimated by WW1 and further still from the Revolution and the Civil War - in fact it was lower after the Civil War than it was pre-WW1 levels.

This one, the Tzar Tank, is especially tailored for a What-if scenario [:D]:

It looks like a Giant Penny Farthing bike with machine guns!

Hard to think that twenty five years later they had the T-34.

Have to go away from the computer for a while, but I'll figure out something later.

Meanwhile, other than capturing Pskov, the big red offensive against the Balts has failed to materialize (yet).

This is true...the Southern Whites (WH1) seem to have excess number of generals however, you have stacks full of them. And yes, the AI likes its massive 'killer' stacks, I learnt that yesterday when it totally eradicated Stalin's Eastern Front. 30k troops totally wiped out from stupid ignorance by me. And a very clever AI move.

Excess number of generals certainly help. Do note that I combined Bogaevsky's stack only after the Tsaritsyn battle. He was inactive on previous turn as well so it was Denisov's Corps that did the business.

I prefer to have more generals than having a few less and players lacking leaders after some Generals deaths...Let's say there are into staffs attached to 3 stars [;)]

BTW, I've found :

- something to balance about NM ( more later)
- RED AI will be reworked a bit as I've designed it with some securities when some central objectives are threatened and the current way is hindering offensive in an absurd way.
-I've to tone down a bit Northern importance in 1919 for Reds.

Last, from my own tests, I feel the 1.03 AI to be slighty better than the 1.02b, mainly for stack composition and splitting...

I've almost forgotten: I really wonder what FY would value for PBEM [:D]

Thanks I will look at. For Poland....As I've said, I LOVE chaos. So in 1920 there's a small chance Poland to enter the war, even if normal events don't fire....Who knows what Pilduski is thinking? [:)]

I do not need this now...diverted Trotsky Front to Ukraine...again lack of money stops me from counteracting all fronts. I do have Budyenny if they can bloody stop being brown envelop and deal with Yaroslav Green problem. Maybe I can use as diversionary. Arghhh....was winning too...and I have Kronsdadt to deal with early 1921...not good. At all!!!!

Frankly, aren't enough wargames where the victory is sure for one side as soon as the middle of the game ?[:D] Chaos rules.

Freikorps doesn't seem to garrison important cities. I've captured Kaunas and Vilnius with one cavalry regiment doing recon behind enemy lines (late September '19).

The regiment was wiped out next turn, so not too many complaints. [;)]
