Preference to unique art races with big difference in flavor/gameplay. Clones of ship models are unacceptable imo.

Of course. I have one home brewed race I'd like included, BTW. I created them for a fan expansion, but have not found the time to work on that. They are quite different than everything else in Distant Worlds and have an interesting background. They use unique weapons and I also have a ship set. I won't reveal more at this time. [:'(]

You can join/add your race into beyond pool. It will be cared of eventually. The queue is huge and bottle neck is amounts of art needed to supply the intended. I would be grateful and happy if we already aim and discuss integration and you take part in discussion about character system allocation - check last post in beyond thread.
Obcourse far goal is at least 60 races, but its takes a lot of time for me alone to build really well polished one as Ergreagd which have all unique art including around 1000 unique characters. I could release it vanilla type but the point is to showcase character system in play. This thing alone for one race requires more time than to issue 15 new so so different picture races mod. We will cherish, handpick every race. Included races will receive investment of huge ton of specific original art done for it.

What it missing is characters and character art. The latter should be really easy to do for this race. More to follow later.

ITs complex project because each race requires 400-1000 characters geneerated, which generated by program using pre made alpha png facial parts art like this : http://i.imgur.com/n3DGA9D.jpg

For no race this process is simple, it need alot of art to be done, and then alot of "programming " of racial characters personalities, affinities, skillsets that will be unique for eac hrace and extend the depth of race diversity.

Psycho Weapons are based on an ancient relict from a long gone race that was... different. Using them has certain repercussions. More info when I release the mod.

The only version is the "extended" version and he do not work on it, he works on an bigger version right now and its not public.^^ The extended version is in his first post.

Edit: Oh and "extended" is not compatible with any mods or the latest version of the game, if i remember right.[;)]

Yup, you can only try Research Extended for the time being. Reloaded is a huge project and still takes some time.

I'll check the download link.

The restructure operations are progressing well. There are now 640 research projects.

Here's another teaser for you.

Components marked XXX can't be added until the base game is updated. That list is growing slow but steady. Where art thou, Elliot?

I know, well generator is great thing , thanks to ergie.. but its still hugeton of work.... its about making alot of art, which takes alot of time,

by the way - there is program made by some talented guy - DW Builder - does it provides some help in adding techs? tm.asp?m=3627355


Btw it will be cool for integration if you keep list /track of changes/additions you do, so integrating them and assigning to race focuses will be much easier.

I hope that devs will fix the things you need in next release, because i am very exited to see your mod working :)
