Anyone has any thoughts about the Golden Knights?

Is the team well balanced? Will it be able to perform from the get go of the season? Who is currently the star of the team?

We have two from Sweden
Oscar Lindberg from Skelleftea
William Karlsson from Marsta

Do you know anything about them?

As I understand it, Vegas bookies cannot take bets on any team from Nevada. Imagine how much money they'll lose if a Vegas team reaches the finals, in any sport.

I'm not so sure about that. Up to this point all professional hockey games can be bet on in all the Casino's Sportsbook. I haven't heard that and I live here.I will inform myself if that's so.

Betting on the team in Las Vegas is permitted. The only restriction is no betting advertisement allowed nor Kiosk for betting at the Stadium w here they play. The odds Las Vegas Golden Knights to win the Stanley Cup stands at 150 to 1. In other words, the Sportsbook people think its close to impossible.

It is close to impossible for most teams to win the cup. So how much tougher must it be for a newly assembled team?

I suspect that the odds deserve to be even greater, but at the same time I suspect that there are plenty who bet on the Knights, so I am pretty sure that Sportsbook people nailed the odds perfectly.

If you were here and placed a bet on them (lets say $100.00) and they won you would earn yourself 150,000 US dollars. Well, though they have players there will still be a selection process through practices sessions and I imagine some of them will be let go. Can they meld as a Team in the short time they have to prepare before the first season game? I mentioned above we have to Sweds. Do you know those players in Sweden?

No, not well enough to have an opinion that has any worth.

I've seen them play a few times but that is all.

Odds have changed drastically from my last post. If you choose Mcgregor you have 10 to 1 odds.. Casinos are protecting themselves. Most money coming in is going to Mcgregor

Thank you for the update.

Sounds like Mcgregor will make a hefty profit after the season. Unless, of course, there is some sort of a miracle and would Mcgregor survive to pay all the winners? I suppose they will since I suspect that there are laws to prevent such events.

Sorry to hear this, very tragic and sad!!!

The world is upside down lately. I went to vote yesterday here in Catalonia (Spain), and although not as tragic as what has happend in LA, it´s still a hard blow to society over all [:(]

The numbers are surreal. Because of the quick work of our police the numbers of dead and wounded were hundreds less then could have been.
