Funny, I have never noticed this before. The 12.7mm Ho-103 MG has higher accuracy than the 7.7mm MG mounted in central position. Normally, it is the other way round - the bigger guns are less accurate due to their slower rate of fire. Now I get it why the Oscars with two such MGs performed very well in some of my tests.

I noticed that I'm starting the game with no shipbuilding points in the pools so I was going to go to the shipbuilding dialog and turn off
a lot of the ships in the pipeline and I found no button available to get me to that dialog. I guess it's only available turn two and
subsequent. Which is a tiny irritation and not a full-fledged crisis.

just loaded scn 75 and i do have the ship button and can access the ship build queue - maybe a bad install?

If you are playing PBEM, turn one you can not access any of the reinforcements lists.

Now I'm looking at the condition of the industries and I'm seeing some LT IND failing on some of the smaller islands close to Guam. I
don't remember the name of the group, the Mariana's or something. Anyway, they are failing on RES and I'm thinking I can set up a
small transport to carry some small amount of RES to each of them, maybe 12 transports total, to service the small amount of RES that
they fall short every day.

There's over a Meg of RES at Tokyo right now. That's pretty cool. That's probably enough of a cushion to permit the set up the RES
pipeline and get it started running. I'm concentrating on the nearby locations for RES right now although there's some RES flowing
to the outlaying hubs, Cam Ranh Bay and 'Bubble drop', and Truk for instance. I've got TF's grabbing what RES Bangkok has and
there's some at Saigon and I'm counting on a lot of goodies from Malaya and Sumatra and Java. I've got transports headed that way
already. Either the ports will belong to me when the ships arrive or somebody will be embarrassed.

One of the "German raider" boats spawned in the lower left corner of the map. It's destination is Truk but I'm thinking of rerouting it
to go to Cam Rahn Bay instead. I don't really know where I'm going to need it in about 10 turns so it's just heading north right now.
I suppose it had to spawn somewhere and the lower left corner of the map is as good as anywhere I guess.

My CVE Iwami took an unlucky torpedo in the side from a sub and so I'm retiring it to Bubble drop to start the repairs. I really need that
carrier on station though and I'm playing with the idea of leaving it on station reguardless of the damage. I suppose it would be best to
fix it though.

Here's the face of Malaya. I'm landing in multiple places on the east coast and as soon as my troops collect enough supply I'm going to
spread them out to start the mop up of the interior. All the places north of Singora will be handled separately from the troops that head
south collecting and pushing the Allied troops toward Singapore as I go.

Here's the face of Sarawak and Borneo. I laid some submarine mines at Singkawang to hassle the Allied ships passing through there.
Landings are ongoing at Miri and Brunei and I've got troops headed for Kushing. Also, there's a small TF headed for Jolo to put an
outpost there at the entrance to the bay that all the Allied ships trapped north of Jolo will almost have to pass by there if they are
headed for Balikpapan or points south. The CVE Iwami took a torpedo and needs to retire to Bubble Drop so that will leave a gaping
hole in the dragnet I wanted to encircle the Allied ships with. D'oh. Tarakan and Balikpapan are future targets and I wanted to park a
sub at each of them before Brian can lay some mines there. Java has plenty of mines and subs to carry them so I'll have to be wary of
Allied mines when landing in the bay area, the Celebes Sea.

This is the face of the Phillippines now. The landings are ongoing at Appari and Vigan and I've got transports headed for Legaspi.
I'm stockpiling up the supplies at Appari hoping that they will eventually trickle south as the troops head south toward Manila. I plan
to reuse the invasion beaches I've got already rather than break in a new one and risk loosing some ships, not to mention the troops
that would be lost in an amphibious landing. I'd really rather just unload them at a port all dignified and everything.

Here's what's going on in the Celebes Sea area. The troops at Bubble Drop haven't finished loading yet so I'm slow getting out of the
starter blocks but I've got people ashore at T-town and transports are just about to land at Davao and I'm putting together plans to
take on Tarakan and Ambon and Kendari eventually. It's going to take a while to develop this area but with some ports and airfields
I can bring in some forces and secure this part of the world.

Here's the Rabaul area now. I have seen Allied ships at Rabul even though I laid some sub mines there. I may have to fight my way
ashore there. I've got some heavy guns headed toward Truk and when they arrive there I'll dispatch them to Rabaul to clean out the
area of any Allied infestation around the island just prior to the landings. Also, I have laid some mines at Buin and I plan to park some
mines at Neumae and maybe some in the water just outside of Sidney.

What ships does he have at Rabual? Do you have an escorting TF with some cruisers to face the AUS-NZ cruiser force?

Here's a TF just about to land at Guam. And I've cut and pasted together a list of the invasion sites that will occur shortly. Some of
the TF's are just a follow up to a previous site. Lots of activity going on.

I'm not sure but if it's anything like the stock scenario it's probably a CA and a CL that used to be parked at Port Moresby and has
been moved to Rabaul. I'll need at least a CA to push it over.

No I don't, so I'll have to put the invading TF into some kind of holding pattern until the surface forces
arrive which will be about two days from now.

Good questions. Keep them coming.

Believe me that this scenario is nothing like stock. Do not expect to see just what you
see in the stock scenarios. You really need to do a lot of naval search and recon.

Yeah, I'm starting to find that out from the surprises I've had so far. Cebu has a lot of
airpower this time and all that French air power near Hong Kong, I don't remember the
name of the base. Starts with a 'K' I think. And the Soviets are active. I've been ignoring
them so far but it wouldn't be out of the question for Brian to start something. I'm trying to
tackle the Chinese and Russians separately. That may not be possible.

When I'm not playing Brian in his mod of Focus Pacific #75 I'm sometimes playing my stock Jap-AI game. It's about May 42 and I've
got 4 BB's that were damaged in the Pearl strike that I want to move to the west coast to get them out of the shipyard at Pearl and I'm
wondering what kind of damage level is prefered before the ship travels the high seas. I'm guessing maybe in the Teen's for damage
numbers? Anybody got an opinion that they want to share?

Oklahoma and California float is too high, New Mexico system is way too high and have your cleared away his subs from H before you attempt any movement to the West Coast of your damaged BBs?
