Hawk fighters of the French Armee de l'air are called into the sky to meet a bomber force detected near Metz. The bombers are escorted by Me-109's of JG's 1 and 2.

The French fought hard to get in amongst the bombers but, in a display of discipline, the German fighters stuck to their roles and remained with their bomber comrades.

The result was that the French squadrons returned to base pretty much intact, while the German bombers reached their target of Metz.

The French AA open up on the bombers - all four shots at one target = 8 AA. If I have this right its six throws of a 6 sided dice and the lowest score is taken.

Lowest of six when six 10-sided dice are rolled. I did not read your post well enough [:(]

Some of the pilots of Kampfgruppe 2, not used to accurate AA fire, drop their load early, killing some flowers that were growing in a field. The remaining bombers prove equally accurate and obliterate a farmer's shed containing sundry farming equipment....

No, thank you. Japan has no actions before land movement.

Ground Strikes
None

Rail Movement
The Germans rail von Leeb to Cologne

Land Movement
In a surprise move, the bulk of the German Army (well 6 of them anyway) continue moving west...

Over to Ormster for the Italian and Japanese.
