Changsha falls, but a roll of 3 leaves Umezu's forces disorganised and destroys a Japanese infantry division. Messy.

In Poland, Katowice falls and is occupied by LXXIII Garrison.

Poznan falls to von Rundstedt's Army Group, leaving the route to Lodz and Warsaw open.

A blitz attack north of the Vistula also succeeds. The breakthrough result allows von Bock's panzer corps to cross the river north of Lodz.

The Germans rebase Bf109E2 to von Bock's Army Group.

The Commonwealth and France declare war on Germany. There is mild disapproval in the USA (-1 chit).

Germany and the British Commonwealth call out their reserves.

As the war rages across Poland, British bombers raze fire and brimstone on Kiel where sits the Kreigsmarine. Nit the results that were hoped for.

Unperturbed by a poor weather roll of 9 and rain across Mitteleuropa, the Fuehrer appears before the Reichstag to explain more details of his dream. The Danes are really Germans, he says. Therefore Germany is now at war with Denmark. Everybody stands up cheering, saluting wildly.

The US public is unhappy. A roll of 1 gives them another chit, entry level 17 now. But this sabre-rattling by the criminal imperialist Roosevelt cabal will not deter Germany.

Denmark aligns to the Commonwealth. This time half the Danish ships set up in Iceland.

Germany land, Italy pass, Japan naval.

Despite the rain, He115cs take advantage of surprise to port attack the Danish ships at Frederikshaven.

Japanese ships take to the China Sea, laden with soldiers.

The Germans invade Denmark. An infantry division occupies Copenhagen, a motorised corps rolls into Frederikshaven.

The cruiser Peder Skram is captured for the Kriegsmarine.

The remaining cp escapes to Newcastle (Keith said any English port.)

Von Bock elects to not attack the Polish strongholds of Lodz and Warsaw in the rain. Instead, he directs his forces against the Polish cavalry defending the German port city Danzig.

The Danzigers are delighted to at last be liberated by a friendly garrison from the yoke of League of Nations free city status.

In China, the Japanese rebase Ki30 bombers north to Tsinan.

We've had some problems with save game files and errors. This is working now but I'm a bit confused as to what has happened to the German reserves. I hope to see them soon. Perhaps I failed to muster them.[&:]

Snow in the N. Temperate and The Med. Combines for everyone except the Chinese. Russian Troops seeing the morale of the Polish waver, storm troops across the border and occupy Eastern Poland. The US notices and is not happy.
Meanwhile across the channel, orders are rushed to Wavell to cowboy up and get his arse across the channel and help out the French!!

Bad weather continues with a roll of 7 up to an 8. Rain, rain and more rain.
