Regardless or not, I was really scared for some time.

One thing I didn't get was the switch in targets from Leningrad/Stalingrad to Moscow. You were at/just beyond Rostov when bad weather hit, I thought for sure you were going to take Stalingrad in early 42.
Instead you pushed at Moscow where I had sank most of my defenses.

Additionally while the UK fleet was never challenged her economy was so bad with the loss of the middle east and was so low on forces I had to build her Industrial Tech up just to have a decent income. It comes pretty quickly when 2 chits are invested and is catching up to the US. What I thought was going to be a side show diversion to soak off some units (and Planes!) from Russia to Greece turned into much more; And once Italy was bounced and Turkey joined the UK was able to start rebuilding a proper ground force. Otherwise D-Day might have been postponed past historical, since there weren't enough Americans to do that and clean up Iraq and to fight in the Alps.

I need a break.

I'm having an issue dealing with a philosophical design difference of opinion regarding this game.

That and doing an AAR with the turns is a huge time sink.

Having said that, I do have the unedited pictures I could replace on the thread here if there is a desire to see them.

I did so many things wrong but some of the worst things was the Italian Navy and how Greece started to bite my ass. With Spain I was a bit unlucky... I was weaker in Russia then you knew.. too few units.
If Spain would have turned axis the game could have been a 50/50 thing. Still Taxman was the better man in this one.. Spain or no Spain.
Looking forward to a new game when you are up for it.

Yes, Spain not getting that last firing was huge!; and super lucky on my part.
The loss of Gibraltar would've kept Italy safe for far longer; and would've made attacking Egypt/Iraq via AVL a very daunting task. Also would've kept you safe from the Greek distraction.
Side note: Even when Greece joins via diplomacy they need/get a boost to morale by having a UK unit in their country.

I kinda sensed there was a (numbers of) unit issue in Russia, which is why I kept probing back and forth in the Crimea and other areas.
Still with the very high morale and high quality German units, Russia really couldn't do much harm except to weaker Italian units and Axis minor non fully upgraded units or units stretched at their supply limits (and thus lower on morale). Flow of MPP to Russia from the UK was not always maxed and was cut off sooner to help build up the Greeks and rebuild the UK forces.

Germany industrial tech 0??????? [X(]

An even bigger shock to me was that German Spying & Intelligence was never invested in.
