Yes, he can. [:)]

I knew that was inevitable. I've tried to avoid doing it. I knew it was inevitable that I couldn't.

I wonder how long it will be before I have John III involved too?

Perhaps I'm missing something, but that message says Rabaul not Rangoon. Am I missing something?

If the Lady Lex or any damaged ships moves off map, you can set the task force to full speed and not get any more damage nor burn fuel.

Going back to the training of your pilots, I am sure that you will find pilots with 50+ experience but with skills less than 50. These pilots can also be used in training squadrons to increase the experience but not the skill levels. But the trainees can get to the skill level of 70 on their own. It is the 81+ experience level pilot that will help all of the other pilots. I have also had those 81+ pilots increase their skill levels while training other pilots. I believe that the experience correlates to the number of hours flying and what to do when something breaks when you are flying. This would then help pilots successfully return and land a damaged aircraft instead of crashing and burning.

33rd Division begins the game prepping (or 100% prepped) for Rangoon. In Japan. He's likely upgrading/filling it out since it's split into 3rds.

Allies Ships Sunk: The list, sorted by victory points. Six days into the war, losses seem modest, at least compared to what I think I remember from previous games.

The Japanese attack at Pearl was successful in inflicting heavy damage but managed only one sinking.

In the DEI, Dave sent strong TFs down the South China Sea and then another dow the east side of Mindanao that then veered over to Sorong. Purely by luck, the escape route for Allied ships fleeing the Philippines split the difference, steaming down the Makassar Strait.

I've done a few other things differently, including using Full Speed much more frequently.

Small xAKs and xAKLs are transporting supply to Singers, which has 70k+. It should exeed 80k tomorrow.

Allied combat vessels have tried for some intercept and have taken some losses (a few DDs).

I think you also may have confused Sorong and Sabang in an earlier post (or my brain could have confused this with another AAR). Sorong is on the western tip of New Guinea; Sabang is on the western tip of Sumatra. I do the same with Naga and Naha.

I teach an adult Sunday school class at my little country church. One Sunday last year, the lesson was about being accepting of others. One class member said that it could be challenging for an outsider to feel welcome in a small community. She added, "I was talking to my French mule...."

Sunday school discussions sometimes veer wildly off track, so a teacher has to think on the fly and maintain appropriate order. My thoughts cycled through possibilities until it occurred to me that a "French mule" might be social media slang for "my BFF" or the like. I interrupted the lady: "Your French mule?"

She looked at me askance. "I said, 'my friend, Shmool'!"

Indeed, I'll never forget the excitement, pain, and fruits of the Sabang invasion.

CenPac: An epic chase gets even more tense. The chances of Lex surviving? I'd put it at about 35%.

If Lady Lex survives, maybe she should be renamed "The Wild Goose!" She might be able to make Baker island and disappear while dewatering herself.

Just think of the extra damage for the KB and the extra time that the KB has spent looking for her.

Miller, the feeling is reciprocated. I hope someday we can face off again. You are a fine player and a gentleman.

Ranger, those are very nice thoughts (and a terrific nickname). I hope you're right!

There was a nasty enemy sub posted at Baker three or four turns back, when those two APs passed by. I *assume* that Dave sent the sub north to participate in the hunt for Lex. That's one reason I've been anxious to find the right moment to create an ASW TF that Lex might follow. I think I'm steering for Gardner Island, down near Canton, at the moment.

She sure is a long, long way from safety. If she escape encounters and detection tomorrow, I think there's a decent chance she'll eventually make it to map's edge.

If you are headed for Garner Island maybe you can stop by and pickup Emilia Earhart?

Excellent movement choices with Lady Lex. He needs to split it up a bit and spread out.

He'd have to guess 100% correctly to nab you on even a cruise run (assuming 4-6 hexes from cruise in a full day). Can you make Baker in that?

Could you set her to Mission and just set the destination farther than 2x cruise away, and leave it up to Sherman?
