Turn 6. July/August 1940. End of Turn. Western Europe.

This is definitely not what Western Europe looked like at the end of August 1940. How has my story deviated so far from the actual when my actors were instructed, and did so I believe, play their parts true to their real life counterparts?

My scripted madness has taken my current story to what I must believe is a reasonable possibility, assuming that my actors indeed were true to their real life counterparts. Though, I believe you, the audienc,e are a better judge of that than I, the director of all this.

So let me present the play that has gotten us to where we are at this point.

Turn 6. July/August 1940. Events, Weathers and Actions.

It was a long turn with 13 impulses in total. The axis, who moved first and last, got 7 impulses and fine weather for every one of them in every weather zone except for the north monsoon.

At the start of the turn (see Event Diary, Global # 25), OKH decided (admitted) that the invasion of Norway had to be put on hold indefinitely owing to the intense combat operations on-going in France. Try as I may, I could not justify my German actor invading Norway given the current situation. I just don't know how to write a script that makes an invasion of Norway a good idea without just giving Norway to Germany. Well, at least with the script I currently have. For the future, the only thing I can think for now that makes sense is to "rebate" the cost of an offensive chit if Germany uses such a chit for a super-combine in order to invade Norway and keep up their combat operations on the Continent.

Turn 6. July/August 1940. Destroyed. Repair.

This turn was a bloody turn for the French and for the Italians who were hoping to capitalize on France's weakness and Great Britain's preoccupation with saving France to pick up some easy conquest. They did get some easy conquests but they also got whacked both at sea and on land.

Note that Italy lost their sea lift (i.e., both transports) and Germany's total sea lift is in dry dock (i.e., repair pool).

Before providing you with the combat logs Western Europe, let me take you through a serious of time lapse maps of the Western Front as the turn progressed.
