The headlong retreat from Russia continues...

I can't do anything about the landings in Western France other than try and re-build my forces and await the breakout...

Nothing much happened in China. I continue to advance on Burma with my scratch force.

Irritatingly an enemy unit (US infantry) retreats once again just as he was about to be destroyed....

I am in danger of repeating history as my centre in Russia has collapsed and Army Group North is in danger of encirclement. I start the withdrawal from here to and hope it's not too late....

I lose an army in Tunisia.... although I take out the Mech unit responsible, I can't afford the loss. The Italians remarkably continue to keep the British at bay.

Did you ever get Sumatra and/or Java? Still no oil convoys from there in your end turn summary...

I can't do anything about the bridgehead and so decide to leave the corps in St Malo to its fate.

The Japanese doggedly (stupidly) continue with their foray into Burma.... It's a campaign without a future, but unlike everywhere bar Tunisia, it at least allows me to destroy some enemy units...

With the Soviets on the almost on the border with Poland and Romania, the war will likely end in the east early next year. The Red Army is simply an unstoppable juggernaut.

That was a slightly better turn on the Eastern Front. At least I managed to actually destroy some Soviets. But in France I have no choice but to withdraw from the Cotentin Peninsular.

But Burma remains fun for the present - sadly I couldn't occupy Moulmein though.

The march on Burma continues! Sadly the Allies are building up in Malaya and also threatening in the east toward Saigon.

I also managed to destroy a British submarine using a destroyer/air combo.

In the East the Germans inflict more pain on the Soviets than was inflicted on them for the second turn in a row. But.... how long can they hold on - particularly on the Dneistr.

I am not sure what the British are up to - perhaps re-grouping - but the Germans are holding the Americans in Tunisia so far.

The Allies - Chinese, Soviets and British/US are on the march again....

The Japanese lose their supply port in Central China - that's a lot of units in the bag. But on the bright side [:D] I push back a South African corps near Rangoon and destroy a corps northeast of Saigon.

I feel as if the weather has a vendetta against me [:D]

The British are back sniffing around Tripoli, and so I get over excited in Tunisia. I would have destroyed an American army had my aircraft been flying....
