Change your Canadian corp to a small corp and you won't use oil. You can move and remerge but not far. Cheap but effective.
I have to do that in my game due to oil issues...until I can get more MS which may be a while.

Thank you for the tip I followed your advice. But I still think it would be better if the AI recognized Canada's need for oil and didn't ship it to the UK in the first place. The Axis have a similar problem with Rumania; but for them it is easy enough to just trade oil to Rumania.

OCTOBER 24, 1941
7 MS sunk and 5 U-Boat hits, not a bad exchange. The Germans surprise me by providing air supply to their corps in Norway. If you are wondering why they have a Corps in Norway, read the Game Notes. Another thing I learned is that the UK does not gain any resources from conquering Norway. At least there is no convoy route from Norway to the UK.

The weather in the Arctic zone is cold. Did I say last turn that the only threat in Russia was in the South. Hadros proved me wrong by launching attacks to cut my Northern rail link near Kanozha (off screen) and towards Moscow. If most of his armour was not stuck in the rain in the South he probably would have made more progress. The circled 15th Armour sustained 7 attacks but did not shatter.

So I shift units from the South back North. One army goes to the area south of Murmansk where the Finns are threatening to cut my rail lines.

A few more are sent to the threatened sectors near Kabozha and Moscow.

In Libya Benghazi is evacuated and the British advance from the East.

6 MS and an escort sunk in exchange for 7 U-Boats. Manstein is KIA. I don't think I have ever seen Manstein survive the whole War; has anyone?
In Algeria the Germans invade and capture an unoccupied Bone (off map). In Western Libya the British destroy an Italian Corps and then pull back. In Eastern Libya the British slowly advance.

RE: Hadros (Axis) vs HB (Allies) Hadros Ok tp read first 4 pages
In Russia, the Germans continue to make some progress towards Kabozha and Moscow while the bulk of the Axis armour sits in the heavy rain in the South.

I did read about the Norway convoy lane...thought it was being added to the Allies...but it would appear not. I believe I read it existed in the past.
Should be put back in. Every point helps.
Invading Norway...him...never really thought about that much. Maybe I need to do that in my game.
Now is when the question arises...would a few more armor have gotten Hadros to Moscow?
Quite possibly.

IMHO, Hadros had more than enough armour to capture Moscow even with his losses in France. The problem isn't with how many armour he has, but with how he used them. Or in this case didn't use them. Look at the screenshot above. He has 4 armour and 2 mechanized doing nothing in the South. If those armour had struck towards Moscow I don't think I could have stopped him from capturing it. Hadros is a good player, but I think he made a mistake sending all this armour South. The South is pretty much guaranteed to be bad weather from October to the Spring. But there is a pretty decent chance of cold weather in the Arctic zone in October and November.

All U-Boats are in port so no MS are sunk. I have 124 UK MS and 21 escorts.
Snow in Russia halts all action.
Libya after my moves.

3 MS sunk and 3 U-Boat hits.
Nothing happening in Russia except I get my Siberian reinforcements.
The Germans reinforce Bone.

A bad turn in the Atlantic as 14 MS and 2 escorts are sunk as against only 4 U-Boat hits. Down to 107 MS, the British close the South Atlantic convoy route.
Things heat up in Africa as the Germans invade between Tobruk and Benghazi and the RN responds.
