These are the last attacks for this turn so I'm going to end the turn here. I thought you guys might like to watch what the Soviets do in their turn so I zipped up my same game file and I've posted it here below. D/L it and load the turn and then set the Soviet player to the PO and let it run.

Konigsburg is the place I've been parking my tired planes because it has multiple airflelds where I can park an HQ adjacent to the planes so the might heal faster. As soon as Minsk is available I'll move the tired planes depot to Minsk because of the multiple airfields available and it's closeness to the front lines.

Okie dokie...I've moved everybody for the first round of T2 and I'm ready to pull the trigger. 35 battles are planned and a lot of them are airfield strikes. The Soviets made the mistake of flying some aircraft within range of mine and I'm about to make them disappear.

Here's what's going on up north and I've managed to surround some Soviet units near the bottom of this image and those Soviet units will soon surrender and my units will be on their way headed NE. One of my Panzer armored units has made it's way up to Riga and found it only weakly defended and forced it's way into the Riga base. The supply path to the armour unit is blocked at this time but those two Soviet aircraft will be gone by this time next turn and supply will flow freely. The scenario doesn't have the rails suffering any damage until I think next turn and the rails up to Riga are intact for the most part and that's a good thing. Now that I have Riga I need to swerve to the east for Daugapils and other river crossings.

This is the area just south of the above image and shows the struggle going on in this AO. I've managed to surround a lot of the Soviet units and they will soon go away. I'm following the roads and rails heading NE making for the river as fast as possible. I'm not going to wait one turn before I destroy these Soviet units even though waiting a turn will render these Soviet units out of supply and none of their organic equipment would go back to the pools. But I'm in a hurry to get to the river. This is a race for me to get to the river before the Soviets do so I can kill them before they escape across the river.

This is the area just south of the above image and shows how I'm bypassing a lot of the Soviet units to try to get on the east side of the retreating units. If I can get to the river before they do I can trap them and destroy them before they can escape across the river. That's my goal. The problem with that goal is that I'm running into more and more Soviet units. They are coming out of the woodwork. I may need more troops in this area to keep pushing forward.

This is the area just south of the above image and shows how I'm already east of Pinsk and I've run my brown-water boats along the river lines and have cut some of the Soviet supply lines and I'm hoping that makes a difference. On the other hand I'm running into Soviet strong points and roadblocks that's slowing down my advance. I'm going to replace all the Panzers adjacent to enemy units with infantry so that the Panzers can zoom on ahead.
