The Dragon transcription software people asked to talk to doctors who were using their software. The site manager sent them down to me. I think she figured I would gripe and moan instead of being polite. Normally this would be true but they sent a team, one guy, who was obviously the honcho, but who looked like Putin after spending 25 years at Sochi lying in a beach chair........ and a seriously hot Dragon Lady.


The Dragon Lady was along, I suspect, to break the ice and prevent moaning and complaining. It worked. I would ask her a question and the guy would answer.

You know, even when you KNOW you are bing worked, it is almost impossible to resist. It's quite pitiful really.

Nope.

Planned Parenthood never sends consultation notes, especially to a building named after a saint. [;)] I think I can guess why they don't.

Also, I know the grandmother, who is now the primary caregiver of the 18 month old. She would never allow that to happen even though I can see the fatigue on her face every time she comes in. The 17 year old is quite happy to be a mother and very likely this is her desired outcome, but she would be completely overwhelmed without the grandmother's support.

Never met the father. I would lay odds he is a "toe rag", as Admiral Lord SPrior might say.

We all know the weight of a shell is proportional to the square root of the radius of the hypotenuse multiplied by the number of spanners in a bag.

A 1/16 model needs a LOT less spanners than the real thing.

Only if it's round. Are those shells round?

No, they aren't round, but both the radius and length of the shell would be reduced by a factor of 6 so a cylindrical shell would also vary with an inverse cube. They are usually cylindrical with a taper at the end.

Seems like one could even approximate the taper as a series of short cylinders stacked together like coins.

We have so many ships transiting the Northern Pacific you have to believe somebody has broken radio silence. Plus, JJ will likely have seen Shemya build up to level 5 and Adak to a level 6 port, given that we announced it in the Los Angeles Times and on every radio sation North of Whitehorse. No enemy subs spotted yet. Our subs in the Sea of Okhotsk seem not to be geting reconned heavily.

One of the target bases has been built up to level 2. That's a good thing as long as it hasn't been reinforced.

We haven't seen Shokaku and the CVBL in a bit...or Kirishima. Makes you wonder if they are waiting for us. [:)]
