Brian, google maps shows that Zagreb is about 700km from the closest point of the Ukraine border, completely across the country of Hungary. Brian, I got Distant Worlds 2 installed and fired up yesterday. I only looked around a bit as I have a PBEM turn from Mike to get turned around first, but DW2 is beautiful visually!

I suspect they sacrificed it to try and get intel on western weapons transfers to Ukraine (routes and transfer points).
