There is some FoW involved here. We haven't been able to determine how the game itself fiddles with the counts, but the totals should be the same.

Hmm totals, not sure i get what u mean but here are the numbers 3 days into a pbem.
By game Zero today in all 25, 17 AtA 8 ops. Totals for game. 29 in all 17 AtA 2 flak 10 Ops
By tracker Zero today in all 18, 12 Ata 6 ops. Totals for game 21 in all 12 Ata 2 flak 7 Ops
That isn't right - your side's ships should all be reported. I've seen cases where you need to choose some of the filter menus a few times before the table updates properly. If that's not it, send me a save and I'll take a look.

Floyd

I did try and change the filters, no difference. ill try after next turn and see, else ill send a save.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

Edit: Just checked ship sunks again and it seems running the program a few times has updated the ships it now shows many more.

The total is supposed to match, but the cause breakdown may be off. The Ops losses may be different if you load the turn after incurring additional ops losses.

Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Well since im allied shouldnt all the japanease ops losses be count?
By virtue of how turns are done and exchanged. While i can during my turn move my own aircraft getting more ops losses, altering my ops losses depending on time I load tracker. i havent found the way yet to move enemy aircrafts [:D]
ill give it a few more days and see what happens and report in.

More or exactly what it should be?

Exactly, funny thing is that while i had 2 ships showing. 1 from first day and 1 from 2nd. It now shows some more that was sunk on day 1 too so it isnt only related to turns.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

PaxMondo, I see no reason there why you might run out of memory. It is strange.

Thanks, nor do I. Suggestions? Ideas?

Never satisfied... [;)]

It'll be fixed in the next release.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Another bug. In the LCU display combat engineers are NOT being counted as engineers. They should be added

Easy Fix ... we were only looking at Engineers ... comes from only looking at the IJA and not the Allies when testing[8|]

Just installed this on my Windows 7 PC and not having much luck running. seems to be a java issue: any ideas?
C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\WitPTracker>java -Xms384m -
Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Yeah sorry a bit late to the punch ... install 32 bit java

Step 2. Check you have 32 bit Java
Check you have 32 bit Java installed. If you are working on a 64 bit OS, then you can have both installed.

Step 2. Option 1. Change your witptracker.bat file to point to the 32 bit Java executable (you need the ""'s cause of the space) - this varies on different machines so you'll need to check the path:
32bitOS users
C:\"Program Files"\Java\jre6\bin\java -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"
pause
64bitOS users
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"
pause

NB** you must run WitpTracker from the batch file !!
(See link for executing the batch file in Win64 bit if it won’t run http://sites.google.com/site/witptracker/support )
OR
there is an executable Tracker file that might solve your problem IF you've done the step above http://sites.google.com/site/witptracker/support (end of the page)

Version 1.6 hasn't been released yet, but assuming you mean the latest (1.5.1), are you sure you have a folder called "lib" in the same folder as the witptracker.jar and witptracker.bat files? Inside the lib folder should be three files: hsqldb.jar, jcommon-1.0.14.jar and jfreechart-1.0.11.jar.

Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

I have a second game that I have about 155-160 turns loaded. When I tried to load tracker tonight it would load the data files but reported out of heap space when trying to create the UI. I increased the memory allocation to 512 and 1024 and tracker would load, but I could not load a new turn, it reported that there was not enough memory to do that operation. I tried a reboot of my machine and still no luck. I will stash my games away and start over. It looks like about 150 - 160 turns is the limit.
