Brisbane struggle...IJ started farming strategic VP at Perth. I thought he would want the supply generation.

I spent some time thinking exactly what kind of allegory of the plight of poor Dewey this might be [:)]
Congrats!

Congratulations! I'm hoping the pic of the Dewey's impending demise is unconnected.

I came across something that seems a bit off to me:
At Cape Town, where fuel is a bit scarce, I have been quite careful with it. Generally, I like to use fuel in the ships that aren't needed to refuel the ships that do need fuel...those going to Australia in this example.
So I have a cargo TF that needs fuel, I then create an escort task force set to do not refuel at the creation screen. Making sure both TFs aren't docked and are the only active TFs, I then have the cargo TF refuel at sea...presto bango it is fully refueled, the escort TF's fuel is untouched as is the fuel in Cape Town's storage tanks.[&:]
Is this WAD?

I have seen that too many times to count. I do not know where the fuel comes from.
To bad our vehicle fuel cells don't work that way.

Many sad faces in Pearl today. I should have kept her on the southerly route below the Jimas.
Lost a Beast today...I tried using the command squadron (3 planes) to fly a recon mission...but they got no intel and lost a plane. Not really a good use of the small squadron given how recon flights work.
Lost a Dutch transport flying out the British AT guns from Changsha, the IJA tanks have moved on leaving a large artillery contingent and plenty of grunts. No need for them to be there anymore...I wonder if they caused Japan not to attack with their tanks?
I forgot the Hurricanes were at Chittagong...lost two to a bombardment. More mines arriving, and the CD guns are setting up...hope they aren't destroyed with the next bombardment.

Until the fuel builds up at Cape Town I ship in fuel from Abadan or East Coast US.
BTW, lots of convoys include merchant ships and tankers which unload load batches of supply and fuel.

They were expendable...Pearl dispatched three cargo ships, one got cold feet when DL skyrocketed and diverted to Aleutians, one got sunk by an Iboat near the French Frigate Shoal, but these guys are lucky and too drunk to care.
