Washington MIL rails to San Diego.

USSR continues pushing units west to within the garrison zone. They also advance in Manchuria. The Communists continue eastwards.

AllenK - that's it from me this evening so if you want to finish the impulse then that's fine and you can make what you think is appropriate decisions. If there are any combats involving Japan, then no aircraft fly.

CW moves units around in Sicily, the UK and Malaya. US moves some units in England.

Mountbatten debarks into Malaya.

Several land combats are declared. Sicily, China and two in Manchuria.

CW adds 3 points of shore bombardment in Sicily. Do the Axis wish to fly any fighters in? The Fw-190 could also join. Odds currently 25:8.

I've taken it the Fw-190 also doesn't join in at this stage.

The RAF add Lancaster and Hampden for a further 7 points.

Both the Italians and Germans have a whole host of aircraft they could fly as bombers or escort. Do you want details or is it a no?

Do the Japanese want to fly anything in China? Peking is 12:5. The other one is 20:4.

Five attacks in total.

Palermo and 56,151 in Manchuria have no retreat path so I guess assault. How about the other three?

USSR rebases three fighters further west.

US rebases a couple of fighters eastwards in the Pacific - P-40 from Truk to Guam and P-40 from Kwajalein to Truk. B-17 rebases from Boston to Greenland.

Mao reorganises MECH, MOT and INF.

Weather remains soggy in the North Monsoon region.

Impulse: 5 (Axis)

Declarations of War and Alignments:
Germany

Germany breaks the pact with the Soviet Union.

Do the Soviets call out the reserves, and if so, where dey at?

So, the long anticipated war in the east gets underway with the Germans making the first move.

The Soviets start somewhat more to the west than historically but facing a German army that hasn't been worn down in two years of fighting.

The Soviets mobilise the reserve forces.

CAVs to Siberia - Blagovy
MECH to Odessa
GARR to Murmansk
5-3 INF to Vologda
6-3 INF to Pskov
7-4 INF to Vitebsk.

Thanks.
