didn't ask, but seeing as you mentioned it, yes it is. But it's purely my opinion.

Well, ravinhood...as usual you completely miss the mark. [8|]

The point about bargain bin is this...do you really think developers would be kicking about or new ones queuing up to make games, if ALL us gamers were as tight fisted as you? [&:]

The point still stands, clever parable quote or not, that without anyone buying full priced games, you'd be on Playstation 3 by now.

Your teachings could well be your undoing.

And you are absolutely full of crap when you say this...
We give reviews not only based on hands on, but, our observations of others reviews as well
If you do, you're more of a fleecer than I took you for. What a cheap skate way to promote or demote a game to people...by using what other reviewers say and transposing it into your own "mini" ill-informed review.

Buy the damn game or, at the bloody very least, play the fucking demo before you go spouting your mouth off about how bad a game plays.

Full of shit from tip to toe

Lol boy I sure got in ole JudgeDredds craw again didn't I? lol Remember Judge it was by your own words and your own speculative opinion of what I'm good at? So, why do you let yourself beat up yourself so if you "believe" I am capable of such? lol Poor Judge just doesn't know how to live and let live with other people. I learned it a long time ago. The only important person in your life is yourself, family next, then friends, your pets (sometimes pets before friends lol) and last but not least strangers. Why people allow strangers to upset them so is beyond me. I'm just speaking the informed truth about my way of life, my way of buying games and my way of dealing with reviews. Live wit it, it ain't gonna change. ;)

Yah, I know. At least somebody gets it (but whether it was worth being gotten is another question, of course).

Shoot. I thought my anagrams on another thread were some of my best work, but nobody appreciated those, either. How can you not like "Turk Sireni" and "Al Slashmiller"?

RH,

You missed the point of the parable. The parable isn't praising the worker who came late and got paid the full price (i.e. Early bird vs. latecomer). It is praising the boss who generously paid full price (i.e. not bargain bin) for a worker who only worked half day because it was his money to be generous with. According to your logic the parable would mean that God would look down at your soul at death and say, "I think I will wait for it to hit the bargain bin," rather than "I'll be generous and save it, despite the fact that he was just recently released and came to his senses late in the game."

Speaking of bargain bin, I am pleased to see that TOAWIII just got put on sale. Now I have to decide if I have the time/money/will to take advantage of it. Sigh... why do they have to be like this, AACW releases, Out of the Park Baseball 2007 releases, and now a sale on a game I have been drooling over since Christmas. C'est la vie! [8D]

Can't be a real Catholic memo... according to that doctrine, all of heaven's forms must be done in triplicate.

Think about it... then laugh.

If you still don't get it, look up the Council of Nicea on wikipedia.

Oh dear......it appears I may have responded to a "funny" late at night and whilst I was in a wee mood.

I do laugh on occasion (well, it's been known...but don't tell anyone on account I may lose my hard earned image as a tosser).

My apologies Pasternakski [&o]

Rest assured, your posts belong to the ones I enjoy most to read. However I don't dare to comment them as the sharp contrast between my cumbersome phrasing and your eloquence would only reveal another facet of my pathetic existence.

And u are all the poorer for it!![:D]

Guess i have some time to play AACW the next few days. Off to buy it.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

P.S I thot sour cream and Creme Fraiche was about the same thing and was under the impression u could buy that in USA. Any medium sized Danish convinient store has 10 different types of Creme Fraiche. im sure they dont aspire to be any where near Eric's tho.

I bought it today, always wanted to have that game. The only problem is that I don't have time to play it...

Just an FYI I bought OOTPBB 2007 RETAIL UPON RELEASE....and it's the GREATEST simulation baseball game ALMOST ever. lol Did you see Gamespy's Review of it? 5 stars 5 stars baby. Ummmm how many did Pure Sim get? tee hee. lol This version is more like 6.5a with more tweaks and whistles really. It finally put in a face maker program so you don't have to look at those ? players in the stat pages or during the game and draws some pretty decent very random faces for many different races. Although I'm really surprised a Dominican Republic face maker wasn't input instead of INDIAN...how many ball players do we have from INDIA?? I musta missed something along the way in the last several years. If you like to write (like me) you can now write your own post game reports for yourself or for an online league.

But, anywhoo what was the topic here? Ohhhh that new game AACW....Oh I'll probably buy it eventually some "Christmas Special" or on one of these BlitzeKreig Specials like TOAW III is now. Great price btw Matrixgames et al. ;)

Patch 1.01 is out...

McClellan asked, "What troops are those fighting in the Pike?"
Hooker replied, "[Brigadier] General Gibbon's brigade of Western men."
McClellan stated, "They must be made of iron."

I remember that one, the forum there was flooded for weeks because the game was released completely unfinished. I'm not surprised you didn't noticed though.

Yah ... you gotta send one to Dad, the guy who started the bizness, and one to Sonny Boy, who was brought on as executive VP after he went belly up in the carpentry trade, and you gotta send one to marketing, so they can verify that the spirit of the company brand standard rules aren't violated ...

Nope the only little men are those not strong enough to be adult and must use childish name calling to puff them up. lol Nice try dinny ole boy, but you are hardly successful where it concerns me. I'm above and beyond childish name calling antics. ;)
