nikivdd,

Excellent. Is v2.0 a like the stuff from DMP? With complete new graphics for units and such?

Will 2.0 have cool stuff like AA guns that can be both AA & AT?

Love all of this stuff. Wahooo!

The units are not going that far as in the DMP mods because i am not completely satisfied with those. I gave the units a different camo (Heer, SS, Wiking, Azul, Hrvatska)thou.
Most AA guns have a switch version to AT, and some self-propelled artillery units as well.
You can check out the development (scenarios,units,...), beta feedback and suggestions here:

You don't need AK to play GTPG v1.05.

nikivdd,

Playing the v1.05 right now. Awesome.

Will your v2.0 have more units? Meaning more than PzC core? Love those screenshots.

Will pop onto DMP, need to brush up on Deutsche.

V2.0 will have a lot more units and an extended capturable unit database. I will be posting unit roster screenshots when the mod is about 80% done.
On DMP you can write english too, i had to brush up my german as well.

Nice work, I think you added a major gameplay enhancement.
The problem with Pc and AK is that it offers limited gameplay, your decisions are limited to the tactical layer of the scenariomap. To keep the game "alive" after the original successes of this remake have been worn off, the question arises of how to improve the gameplay and what things have to be added to keep players motivated to keep playing... and buying ofcourse [:D]   Does Pc need to evolve to something like the Strategic Command (Battlefront.com) series? Or does it need to stick to its roots and only add somewhat minor game improvements? That would be an interesting discussion, anyways you already made a [&o] better game.

I also attempt to create a mod with a replayability value. There are several roads you can take throughout the campaign like for example...shall i continu in eastern europe or go to north africa? Also, Operation Barbarossa allows you to chose armygroup north, centre or south. Each comes with its challenges and rewards (KV1, Katyusha, T-34...capturable equipment. And i was always in favor of an extended capturable unit database, like in 1943 the player will be able to capture some Il-2 Shturmoviks (with german markings).

JSGME stands for JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler, or GME for short. I have found it to be a handy tool for mods (not just Panzer Corps). At the Slitherine site there is a link to download it. It can be found under Panzer Corps: Scenario Design, then under Mods, it is the second topic down under Guides - 'How To Install Generic Mod Enabler'.

Hope this helps.

I am playing the current 1.05v and enjoying it immensely.

I've just finished the invasion of Belgium scenerio...so not to far along into the campaign.

I'm wondering if I should continue playing or wait for V2.0.

Is v2.0 greater, better, etc...70 scenerios, better AI, new units etc?

I believe I've read that the invasion of England and the Malta scenerios are not included in V2.0...so my quandry is to keep playing and hit up the Brits or wait for the more "realistic" campaign tree in the newest version.

Appreciate any insights.

The v2.0 demo is out to give an idea what to expect. The full version will still take some time to complete.
The AI is somewhat better due to the v1.10 panzer corps update.
There are plenty of new units, also there are more capturable units.
I don't want v2.0 to be a 1:1 copy of v1.0, so some scenarios are removed and several new ones added. There is also an africa branch, due to the availability of proper desert tiles.

GTPG v1.05 is updated to v1.06 for Panzer Corps v1.11.

All scenarios were resaved in the v1.11 editor (and hopefully is the "string" issue in scenario France fixed).
Moskow43 decisive victory bug corrected.
Renamed France scenario to France1.

Currently playing GTPG v1.06 with PC v1.11.

Does the mod SS-GTPG Grand Campaign v1.0 have the 70 scenerios?

Can I start this SS mod and will it be the same as your "vanilla" running under v1.06?...is this just a mod to the unit data base of v1.06?...is this mod compatable with PC v1.11?

TXS for your excellent mod!

The SS-GTPG has the 70 scenario's on the basis of the PC v1.05 efile + the purchaseable and bonus SS units. I assume it is compatible with PC v1.11.
