Several three-dot attacks per turn, every turn, has taken a toll on the aircraft. They were all driven into reorg. And I'm going to lose
them completely in T6. Oh well, they served me well while they were active.

I stopped the execution of the Allied turn so I could grab some screenshots of the losses in planes and ships for the Allied side.

This is an Alliled air strike on one of my engineer units on a bridge moving south on the road. All those planes and so little damage.

OK. So the Allies did their attacks, it turns into T6 and there's this screen:

Those destroyers I spoke of earlier.......they aren't destroyers.....turns out they are riverine units. No wonder I couldn't move them.
So all the aircraft went to a different Japanese Home Island to defend something more important I guess. Or even better, the planes
are grounded for lack of fuel. I think that's what the scenario designer said something about. I think I read something about that from
the scenario briefing. I'll have to look that up again to make sure. Anyway the planes are gone. I'm thinking the Allies will have a
better shot at getting a foothold now that my planes are gone. Not that they were doing all that much. There's been savage attacks
back and forth on the westmost beach and my losses are piling up whereas the Americans keep sending in fresh units.

I've found perhaps, the premier example of desertion once a unit is out of supply. I don't remember the fort in question in this image
getting any hits by Allied ships or planes. So I'm guessing that this equipment has been put into the "deserted" category because there's
only a skeleton staff on hand in the unit. I'm thinking that the unit has been without supply and has been firing without letup from the
beginning of the game so that it probably went supply low early in the game and has been out of supplies since, say, turn 2 and it's
now turn 6 so I'm guessing that desertion set in. What do you guys think?

That same fort in T2: see how the supply level has dropped remarkably but desertion hasn't set in very much yet.

Here in T3 we see that same fort executing a three-dot attack on something or other. And the supply level is still low at 4% but no
desertion has set in yet.

I think I've changed my mind you guys......I'm studying the changes over time and I'm thinking some combat must have been involved.
If I was keeping better records we could look through them to see if there was some attack somewhere that targeted our bad boy.
But alas, there's no existing record like that. Not for our bad boy. I'm thinking maybe I should disband that thing. Before it get's
destroyed by the Americans. Oh, wait......I can't disband it if it's isolated. I'd best go see if it's isolated first.

I just moved these units south on the trail and NONE of them was interdicted. I'm thinking there aren't any INT missions set. Not that
I'm complaining. But a human player would have some INT ready.

OK. Finally the Allies have turned on the INT. I just moved an entire formation south on the road and each of the units in turn was
interdicted twice as it was moving.

OK......it's T8 and there's this screen at the beginning of the turn:

Here's the front lines so far. I can't make any headway on the American forces because his airpower trumps my arty. So it looks like
I need to expend a lot of troops rushing his lines to force him back OR we could just let the American stand right where they are. And
run the clock out.

In the American side of the turn Elmer bombards me at least twice w/ all the arty that will reach any of my troops. And the INT targets
units at random for about 8 or 9 attacks. And here it is T9 and I've cleaned out the eastern area now the western area is left.

Here it is T13 and still no movement by the Americans. It's beyond repair now.......the Americans can't win now with so little time left.

Here's T18 and when it's the American turn Elmer bombards me w/ his arty and every once in a while the INT will be turned on and there
will be a handful of INT attacks at random. Here's the news display for T18:

Finally in turn 19 there was some movement. I attacked w/ a three-dot setting and captured the hex. Unfortunately that movement
uncovered one of my hexes and the Americans moved into it during their turn. So now I'm having to play catch up.

Here's the front lines in T23. There's been very little movement and I'm sure that the Americans can't win now.
