Not particularly attractive. Seems like a "drag" queen to me.

With a push/pull prop system, she can go 'either way' if you know what I mean.

My turn. Tell me the type and nation of the background airplane. For bonus points the ID of the plane in the foreground. EXTRA bonus. What squadron does the foreground plane belong to. Designation and "nick name". Good luck! [:D]

Close but wrong. AT sometime in it's life it MIGHT have been a TU-95 , although It more likely was new construction. It has a new designation , and I'll accept either the NATO number or Russian. Here's a hint. IN theory NATO should have RENAMED it something in the "M" serious as in Madge , Mainstay and Mail. But when it came out NATO didn't know if it was still a MULTI-purpose aircraft , one of those purposes being a bomber.

Foreground plane P-3C update II from VP-45, aka "Pelicans". Probably something from their days in NAS Keflavik.

Correct, but usually P-3's only wear the US flag if they are a VIP transport bird (VP-3a). There was never a VP-3C. The other time they wear the flag is when on UNITAS. I'm guessing the latter. The Bera was probably enroute to Cuba.

Correct! Can anyone tell me what a "Bear F' is used for? Compared with say the TU-95 or TU-142H ? [&:]
