This attack lost steam and the whole counterattack fizzled. Moscow is on notice.

still have to keep Tula. At this point I can contain his tanks here. He is very weak near Kursk.

Stalino area

Above it I am concerned. Below contained.

I don't think he can connect the pincers. Maybe due to low supply plus the rr is still away.

If, in the latest version the Germans get reduced supply, then the armor units cannot afford to get cut off in 41.

Also I am getting good Guard conversion.

Correct. Latest version it is imperative to keep German units from being cut off imo.

A bit like the old Roman republic triarii - rarely but their presence was always felt. You could take risks elsewhere knowing you had one place well held. A bit like the cold war - the whole point was so you did not use them.

Looks right on the edge here, would have thought he could push up from the south with at least the cavalry and then there is only one hex to push over the river in the north to isolate Stalino. You break through in your turn and leaves the situation interesting during the mud moves.
The lark, signing its chirping hymn,
Soars high above the clouds;
Meanwhile, the nightingale intones
With sweet, mellifluous sounds.
Enough of Stalin, Freedom for the Ukraine !

If thats the final positions in the south, the Germans have nothing to worry about...those 1 CV soviet cav divisions have virtually no defensive value so even in mud the germans should be able to gain hexes against them.

The biggest issue is the Germans not having Stalino complex for winter....first game in a long time I havent seen it fall in 1941. However...Moscow falling will be painful long term. Esp since Stalino should easily fall in 1942.

Well technically moscow hasn't fallen just yet. The germans have their snow offensive (if they choose to have one), but around moscow will be difficult. Brian could still do a counterattack near moscow and possibly retake it during the blizzard, but for how long?. Another factor would be that the germans might have to keep PzD's on the front to prevent that and thus take attrition and be less prepared for the summer offensive of 42.

Looking forward to winter, you have some nice springboards and opportunities and hopefully all of them won't be plugged up if you keep up the death struggle

Very disappointed in the action by the Moscow home troops. They seemed to give it up with no bark!

Could ya knock off a few of them please.
