Hi
I see you have continued your Offensive in the South and seem to be doing well.

I was under the impression The Axis suffer just as badly during the winter of 42 /43 as they do in 41 /42.

It looks to me that in the south at least your just ploughing through the Russian lines.

Are suffering winter attrition and supply problems ?

There are eight SS mobile divisions in the scenario right now. Only four of them are in the Baku area. It was not my plan to use so many SS division in this area. Some regular panzer divisions of the 1st Panzer Army were scheduled to withdraw and I had to send replacement units.

42 /43 winter was less severe, not so much blizzard. I think winter attrition was also less severe. There were not much supply problems. My rail net was in much better shape. The only problem area was near Stalingrad. Once I lost the city, there was no major railyard nearby.

FWIW, Baku fell to the Slovaks on May 2 (Turn 98) based on the turn 89 load you previously uploaded.
