Thanks JMass. So should I copy and paste this? I'll back up my other settings first I guess.

Back up Opart 3 Fonts.ini

Then copy and paste the settings in notepad and save as Opart 3 Fonts.ini

Thanks guys. Very interesting stuff! They both look good. How might I make the fonts bigger? (my eyes...not too good) There are more than one line for size.

It looks great! [&o][&o] I raised all the size numbers by 2-it did the trick.

I really like this mod, but the unit panel doesn't show the 3d icon or the terrain info/ icon.  The unit panel just shows the 2d icon over blacked out back ground and the other numerical values.  Is there any way to change this to the defalt unit panel ( with 3d icon and hex terrain view)with the JM MOD?

The unit panel should show the 3d icon,(there was a bug in a earlier version correct here :fb.asp?m=1447841 ).

To have the hex terrain view you must delete all the files in AltGraphics with prefix Bk_.

The solution was here:
fb.asp?m=1419630
fb.asp?m=1420412

I'm really pleased with this terrain mod, excellent work, but I have the same problem as encountered by others.
The Unit Panel background is BLACK, followed instruction to download the bk_fix.zip but all the links are now dead.
Could someone please help me out by posting another link or if possible send a email with attached files !!!.
Thanks is advance as this mod makes the gaming experience so much more enjoyable.

It resolved one bug where 3d figures were hidden in some terrain but the last version of my mod has no problem, you can download it from this link: http://files.filefront.com/jm+mod+toaw3 ... einfo.html

Thanks again for taking the time to post this latest version, so much better that it should be included in the next patch.

Still had problems with the black background in the unit panel, but discovered that this only happens when Maximum text is selected, no problems with Standard or Highlight text selection options, thanks again as I'm really enjoying the upgrade.

As the "Opart 3 Fonts.ini" was already mentioned I would like to know if anyone can explain what does what in this ini file.
Some are obvious but others make me scratch my head as I never toyed around with any fonts.

Where do those settings work?
[DocumentFont](Briefing only?)
[MediumFont](?)
[SmallFont](?)
[ObjectiveFont] (Only for vicory points on objectives?)

How can I set a specific color here?
Background=0x000000
Gold=0xffd700
Red=0xFF0000
Silver=0xffffff

What do those settings change?
windowsFont=Y (?)
Outline=N (?)
Background=Y (?)
Spacing=0 (I guess space between letters?)
Weight=400 (?)
Size=10 (This is obvious)
Font=Arial Rounded MT Bold (This is obvious)

you can get color codes here

What do those settings change?
windowsFont=Y (?) this is to toggle between the old Bitmap (courier) font and user defined windows fonts

Thanks.
Can you tell me where those colors are use?

BTW currently I'm using your settings in the fonts ini and would like to know if I can somehow adjust the position of the black box behind the text when switching to maximum contrast.
It always looks a bit strange because it is displace a bit to the right & down.
