That's not a bad camera at all. Very nice for a phone. One of those i4's is probably in my future as I'm coming to the end of my servitude to Sprint and have no wish to continue with them.
i was cursing the heck out of the camera function until i figured out how to zoom in and out...[8|]...it also has an HDR mode that really jacks up the resolution, but the pics i posted were normal settings...
i probably would have gone droid unless apple finally decided to get in bed with verizon...don't know sprint too well, but my wife is on AT&T and hates it...i5 comes out this summer...definitely recommend verizon...

Hi all,
I haven't received one of these in years... how on Earth it passed through my AntiSPAM LINUX server (I get less than 5 SPAMs a month)...
GOOD DAY,
Please I hope you would not be embarrassed by this. Actually I am an
English woman, I got married to a Malaysian man 5 years ago, and that was
in 2005. My husband Kasim is someone that could be described as rich
while he was alive. He was well acquainted with business and thus had
several companies which include Kamis gas and oil limited, Rizal best
transporting agencies as well as a large Palm plantation.
Upon my husband death is estimation of his asset
Was$6.2MILLION.inaddition to the liquid cash which is sum of $5.6million
in the bank.
Please you have to know that consequent upon my husband death, his family
members gathered and are treating to strip me of all the financial
earnings despite the fact that our marriage was contracted under the
required statutory of the act which specifies that upon the Death of the
husband the wife shall inherit all the belongings of the deceased
husband.
Please, i want you to help me so as to transfer the raw cash into an
account before the family members come up with whatever Asian ideas they
have. Please I urgently require your help. Please contact me immediately. I
strongly believe i can bank on you. Please you can write me through this
email(linda_olga@excite.com )
You can contact Mr.Olsen Silang . He is the head of foreign
affairs .If you require further information his email address is
b_centralasia@asia.com and phone number +60172150197.
Thanks
Yours sincerely

Right now the rumor mill has it that there will be no new iPhone this year. I'll keep an eye on it until my contract runs out then will probably just get an i4.

HDR mode that really jacks up the resolution
Actually HDR is a process of merging multiple exposures to get wider color variances. It doesn't change the resolution of the camera. That is fixed.

It just looks like one with those capital letters and the odd surname, given she is supposed to be married to a Malaysian.
I suspect that she's an evil genius who taunts her victims - and it probably spells out something like "if you reply to this your a t***" - but not in those exact words obviously because the letters don't fit.....................

Hey Steve:
Nice shootin' Tex. [8D] Would this have been you once upon a time? Harpoons, I assume? Didn't smaller USN attack craft (e.g., rotary wing aircraft) use Penguin ASMs for a time too?
ROME (AP) -- U.S. aircraft have fired on a Libyan coast guard vessel, forcing it to limp to shore, after it launched missiles at merchant ships in the port of Misrata, U.S military officials said Tuesday. A U.S. Navy P-C3 Maritime Patrol aircraft fired at the Vittoria after multiple explosions were seen near the Libyan port Monday evening, according to Joint Task Force Odyssey Dawn statement. The 12-meter patrol vessel "was hit and no longer operational, and forced to beach near the port," Lt. Nathan Potter told The Associated Press in a phone interview from aboard the USS Mount Whitney.

Gratuitous to launch a missile that's probably worth more than the target but we seem to like doing that.

RE: THE THREAD!!!
i am guessing it would more likely have been a Hellfire... taking a hit from a Harpoon probably would have done in a Libyan coast guard vessel pretty quickly without chances for "limping".ORIGINAL: anarchyintheuk

EDIT: a 12 meter patrol boat would probably be matchsticks had it taken a direct or even near hit from a Harpoon.
ANOTHER EDIT: P-3 can carry Mavericks - no mention of Hellfire capability in what i looked up... also can carry Zuni rockets.

Roger that on the Maverick capability. A "well-placed source" familiar with P-3 armament has informed me that is a distinct possibility in this case. [;)]ORIGINAL: rtrapasso

Wondering about a Penguin ASM capability too.

RE: THE THREAD!!!
Looks like Penguins are used on F-16, helicopters of various types, and ships... no mention of them on the P-3.
EDIT: The Penguin has a 120-130 kg warhead (depending on model) - again, unless it missed by quite a margin, it would have been more than enough to mince up a 12 meter patrol boat.
RE-EDIT: The warhead on the latter Mavericks can be even bigger (136 kg), but the one on the earlier models is "only" 57 kg.
