I've seen The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney and there vocals were excellent. Yes it was a few years ago but both sounded great....GP

I have often wondered if Brian Jones (founder and leader of the Stones) had not died what he would have done musically if he got sober and clean.

Same with Jimi

BBfanboy wrote: Mon Oct 31, 2022 12:20 pm Lucky you, Leo! Sting is one geriatric artist I haven't seen yet. I hope his voice has aged well.

I was at a Nancy Wilson (of Heart fame) and Styx concert a couple of weeks ago. Nancy's voice has not aged well and she didn't even try to sing much, but she is still one of the best rock guitarists in the world. Styx had some younger blood but a couple of originals and their voices were all strong and clear - and they put on a great show. The leader (in his mid 70s) was jumping around and standing on things like Mick Jagger!
The concert was great - I am very glad that we went!

Although he is 70+ years old he played 20 songs without interruption and his voice is still strong (not as good as when he was younger but that was expected)...

Both Sting and Styx are some of my favorite musicians. I've seen Sting 2 times, but it has been over 20 years. Wish I could have seen him with The Police. Styx is my 3rd favorite band, behind Rush and Genesis. My wife and I saw them about 3 years ago and it was a great show. I also saw them 2 times before that, including 1983 for my very first big time concert. 8-)

I've also seen both The Stones on their 50th anniversary tour and Sir Paul just about 3 years ago. Both were fantastic shows.

Jimi is my personal answer to the question "which musician would you bring back from the dead to see perform 1 show?"
