NoTurn 15. Jan/Feb 1942. Allied #7. USN. China Sea. Attempt to Initiate Combat.
The USN 4-sub will attempt to initiate combat in the China Sea.
4. Do the Japanese wish to add any additional air? If so, where?
If I find with the 4-box, the CA will engage the subs only in surface combat (unless the split delta is 8 in which case include the US CPs).5. What are your orders if combat proceeds?
If I have 2-3 SP move your attack column down 1 to ne.
If I have 4-5 SP move my attack column up 2 to D 3A.
If I have 6-7 SP move my attack column up 3 to 2D 3A.
If I have 8+ SP move your attack column down 1 and mine up as far as possible.
Fly the NAV in Tokyo to the 0-box of the Sea of Japan.By the way, the USN also has a sub unit (4-3) in the 2-box of the Sea of Japan.

Turn 15. Jan/Feb 1942. Allied #7. Bay of Biscay. Non-Phasing Initiate Attempt.
Do you wish to fly out any additional air? (He 111H and BF 110D available).
If so where?
I don't see a 3 factor NAV (Ju 87R) is the Bay of Biscay. Which unit would you like to use for the combat attempt?

Naval air. Use 2 SP to move the AA down 1 column to ne.
Use 6 SP to move my attack column up 3 columns to X 2D 2A
First X versus Richelieu
2nd D (my choice) versus Richelieu if available, next choice would be a damaged CA, and last either CA available.
2nd A versus any undamaged French ship. Else versus undamaged ship with 1/2A result, damaged ship without 1/2A.

Turn 15. Jan/Feb 1942. Allied #7. East Med. Non-Phasing Initiated Naval Combat. Round 2.
The French take it on the chin. The three remaining RN ships, one of which is damaged, decide to abort the sea area. A decision, in retrospect the RN and French should have done at the end of round 1.
