Just watched the first episode of the first series of the BBC's reimagining of Sherlock Holmes. Was actually much, much better than you'd think. It probably helped that I had no clue ([:'(]) about the existence of it until I saw it in tonight's TV listing.

Will definitely be tuning in for the second episode next Saturday.

I was surprised at how good it was too. It was written by the same guy who writes Dr Who.

Yep. One of the writers also played Mycroft.

Few months ago wife and I re-watched the BBC "I, Claudius"... what superb TV series... although 35+ years old it never lost the magic... superb acting... and no regret for absolutely no outside scenes... [:)]

Well...it could serve if youre very, very much inclined to try.....but I just cant see it attracting too many scantily clad college freshmen of the female persuasion. [&:]
