OK, I'll ask ... who won?
Germany. See post #171.

I forgot to post the overwiev picture I made of the central parts of the front.

I think the optional I played with in this game slightly (?) favored Germany. Two of the options used, "railway movement bonus" and "2d10 Land CRT", benefits the attacking Germany alot in the short Barbarossa campaign.

Thanks for this AAR, it is good to see MWIF in action [&o]

I'm not sur this is the right forum (but I didn't find another one) but I have 2 questions/humble suggestions re graphics:
- will there be some kind of graphic symbol to show when a hex has more than one unit ?
- I haven't noticed a graphical difference for untis that are face down ? Is there one or will there be one ?

Cheers

Stacking in a hex is indicated by a black rectangle above the unit. In the last screen shot, the German 5-3 east of Stalino has a 2 above the unit image. That indicates there are 2 units in the hex. Turning on Flyouts activates a blown-up image of all the units in the hex (up to 9 per Flyouts 'page'). For example, the above screenshot appears to be zoom level 4. The Flyouts are zoom level 6 which makes the units easy to read. By moving the cursor over stacks of units with Flyouts enabled, you can review a frontline without having to click on anything.

Units are always face-up in MWIF. To indicate that a unit is disorganized (i.e., face-down in over-the-board parlance), one of status indicators above the unit is displayed in orange. The unit in Kursk is disorganized. It is also out of supply (the yellow indicator). The Italian unit west of Gomel is merely out-of-supply. If a unit has no lit status indicators, it is in good shape. Status indicators are also used to show which units can be moved in the current phase/subphase (green in the upper left corner).
