Someone is raging in Berlin "How come they always manage to end turn when they want and why can't we find their convoys in North Sea even we know that those ships are bringing supply to Amsterdam? JUST FLY NEAR AMSTERDAM AND SINK ALL SHIPS YOU SEE!!!"

There was little action in Poland, otherwise it was phoney war.

"Maybe they find out how to solve this without another Great War..."

I have not bought MWiF yet, but just out of curiosity for when I do...how are dice rolls managed? Both of you seem to be rolling dice. Is there some kind of instant online reporting mechanism within the game?...or is there an honor system?...ie...could the dice be rolled and re-rolled to get the result you want, and then report that result? I remember when I played games on line we would use a dice rolling web site that would e-mail the result to both players instantly.

There is no mechanism in the game to tell opponent about rolls. We trust each others. It is possible to use third part service when both get email when rolls are made.

You can replay combats again and again. Also there is "set dice" option when you can roll anything you want. That is very handy, when game crashes and you need to play naval combat again.

If I cheat, I lose a great opponent. So I prefer not to cheat and get mad to dice :)

I have played using hot set and solitaire. Not sure how things are in net play.

I'm asking because sometimes you can get extreme results or timely results...both just happened in this game. If you don't know your opponent (or even if you do), results like these can raise suspicions. I would rather my opponent not "trust" me, because I would feel bad if I got a crazy good result for myself that I "told" him I rolled. I would much rather he see the roll for himself. So I guess the internet e-mail dice rolling is still the option for now...maybe Netplay will be different. The other is Skype...you can roll the dice on your table with the camera pointed at the dice?[:D]

Nice gift from the Poles!
Probably would have been even better if a unit survived in East Prussia!

I believe they wanted to prevent Sea Lion and other invasion plans by overrunning my trans and amph in Königsberg and they were willing to pay that price.

Organized ships would have just rebased without even a roll for what I remember, no?

True, it was not a surprise impulse.

EDIT: There was a French CL in Baltic Sea waiting...

Does Allies want to change resource lending or are current deals OK?

No changes to lending arrangements.

J/F 40: Initiative.

Both sides roll a 9 but with the Axis on +2, the choice is their's. They elect to go first.

Before the action resumes we head over to our weather reporter.

J/F 40 Axis 1

Weather is good enough to end phoney war. Germany declares war on Belgium. Get ready France, Germany is coming to Paris!

We will fight them dans les bistro's ... we will never surrender.

When news of the declaration of war on Belgium reaches the US they positively applaud the action (10 rolled).

Belgium aligns with France. The Cav deploys to Liege, while the two Inf and Ftr take up positions in Antwerp.

The plane should have been better in Bruxxels. Germans cannot get there and it would get saved with a rebase in the next impulse.
This way risks to be bombed / caught on the ground if the Germans seize Antwerp.
