You misunderstand me. The total you show for the Japanese is 1179, but the totals for individual plane types adds to over 2000. The total you show for Allied losses is 2193 but the individual plane type losses add to just over 1000. Looks like the total figures are in the wrong columns.ORIGINAL: Leandros

Allied losses on ground are relatively higher than the Japanese because of the higher efficiency and utilization of Japanese bombers.
