In Morocco, I advanced units East towards Algeria with the idea that I would defend it. But then I worried that if the Allies landed in my rear I could be cut off; so I retreated. Then to make sure I wasn't cut off I brought in more units from France. So now I have the equivalent of 3 large corps in Morocco that should be in Russia.

MARCH 27, 1942

The remaining British Units south of the Qattara Depression disappeared. I assume this means they were destroyed.

APRIL 10, 1942

Snow in both the Arctic and North Moderate weather zones. So instead of recovering, my units in Russia suffer more degradation.

I shuffle some units to Russia, but otherwise nothing significant to report.

APRIL 24, 1942

A late Blizzard in the Russian arctic zone together with the snow last turn means that the efficiency of all my Axis units is in the 65% to 70% range. So even if next turn is clear I probably will delay my Summer offensive.

On the Allies turn they successfully bombed (1 hit) my U-Boats that have been sitting in Bordeaux for several months, So I started moving them back to Germany. Unfortunately I accidentally moved one group too close to shore; hopefully Hadros won't notice (I know I probably wouldn't).

MAY 8, 1942

Hadros either didn't notice that my U-boats could be attacked by his surface fleets or he didn't care. Either way they make it safely back to German ports.

My German infantry Tech advances to level 43 and several of my select infantry upgrade.

The Netherlands is conquered; but it was closer than I thought it would be. Next time I think I will use a larger force.

In Russia all I do is advance into empty space between the Axis lines and the Russians.

The North. I don't plan on attacking here unless an opportunity presents itself.

nfortunately I accidentally moved one group too close to shore; hopefully Hadros won't notice (I know I probably wouldn't).

My understanding is that you would still be ok. The sub seems encircled only by all-sea hexes. The island is 2 hexes away.

And this is a proof that I follow the AAR [:)]

I follow up without combat. I have 10 armour (6 German and 2 Italian) and 6 Mechanized (5 German and 1 Italian) in Russia. I just wish he would stand still and fight.

The Northern Sector after moves.

This British fleet movement caused me to scramble to occupy a number of ports just in case it contains any transports.

So the Axis launch the 42 Summer Offensive against the section of the Russian line from just South of Gorki to just North of Stalingrad. Several Russian armies are Shattered and a breakthrough is achieved. But for the bravery of the circled Russian HQ the 4 Russian units in the middle of the line would all be without supply. But for the stupidity of the circled mechanized unit the Northern 2 Russian units would be effectively pinned.

Still I am pleased with the results. If I was Hadros I would probably resign right now. The only bad thing is that I used up over half of my supply trucks on just this one turn.
