The French are building up on the Belgium border. Our next objective: Brussels.

In the East, Konev is assigned the task to defend the southern line.

What is interesting to notice is that the rail lines are occupied.

As such, all these Panzer corps won't be suddenly on the West front next turn.

June 20th, 1941:

Germans are building up a new line to protect their homeland. Soviets are welcoming some new advancements.

As planned, the Germans are withdrawing. Their summer offensive in the East is cancelled.

In the Atlantic, it looks like our escorts are now performing well.

French are ready.

General Gamelin successfully invades Brussels. Next turn will bring another surprise.

And the biggest surprise comes from sveint himself. To my surprise, he decided to stop this game. I must say I was surprised because I was not sure of the follow up.
He could have beaten my French troops and invaded France in 1941.

In any case, it was a smart move to try this early Barbarossa. I was very worried during few turns.

In our mirror game, sveint exploded my Panzer corps during Barbarossa and I decide to quit our game at the same time. [:D]
