AG South Turn 24

My front line is so long that even the Pz's have to be broken down into Regiments, this will hurt.

On the Taman Peninsula I have started to dig in as Russian units begin to arrive.

Got The Axis Allies deployed in defensive lines if both German need to fall back.

I really don't want to look at it as it still bad.

Got my rail repair units moving as fast as I can fixing the rail lines, there is just not enough of them to go round.

Air Losses Turn 24

Was not a good week for the Luftwaffe, with almost 100 planes destroyed.

And this was happening with no operational directives in play.

AG North Turn 25

I must be not thinking clearly I have launched more spoiling attacks against the AI hoping it will think twice about attacking itself, this may be bad mistake.

Its Dec and my units will suffer heavily for this, lets see how it pans out.

AG Centre Turn 25

Again despite knowing full well this could be disaster I also launch front wide attacks in the hope that the AI will not counter attack.

I got this idea if route enough of them it may not have enough units to attack in strength.

That way I just might hold out through the winter.

Also in the south I bloody the nose of the Russian bear.

Still not good even considering i have quite a few rail heads close my Armee's guess that first winter penalty has kicked in.

Well need to keep practising in future games how to get my supply setup better.

And right on schedule the far east troops arrive.

It begins, might have made a error attacking them during the first winter.

AG North Turn 26

Not much activity here apart from the Russians massing there forces.

4 Pz Armee to hold the line with the build up inside the Leningrad perimeter continues by 18th Armee.

like wise 16th Armee guards the Southern flank of Army Group North.

9th Armee has the hardest job facing the Moscow Forces.

AG Centre Turn 26

For second week in a row I launch spoiling attacks against Red Army units, at this time it seems a good idea but I am using Pz units, this is going to comeback to bite as the winter really hits.

The first week of Russian attacks had little affect on the front line, somehow though I cant see this bold move scaring the AI.

Here also I do multiple spoiling attacks, I am trying something different during winter rather than just sitting there and taking a beating from both the Russians and the winter.

This could create a total collapse, well I will find out very soon if this was a bad idea.

Well its improved a bit, but I am not celebrating just yet.

I just launched virtually front wide attacks that has got hurt my supplies going into the next turn.

Well its despite what might prove to be a bad choice the attacks caused quite a lot of casualties for the Russians.

So the tactic is working so far.

Well there is always a price these kind of tactics and took nearly 85 losses but inflicted nearly 280 on The red Air Force.

That is roughly a 3 to 1 advantage in losses.

Does not look encouraging, we are down under the 3 million man mark.

And they are nearly at 4 million.

AG North Turn 27

Most of the North is quiet as The Russian seem to be just building there forces up.

A lot of my troops are dug in and around hills and heavy Forrest areas, will that be enough to thwart the enemy time will tell.

Still most of them are Regt level is not good at all.

It will be easy for the enemy to punch through this thin line.
