Pauk has landed 240 miles north of Perth over the beaches.

I dont like landing in non base hexes but I will live with it.

I never do it 1st in PBEM but personally I think it is a very very bad thing for the Japanese to do in the long run if I go coast hopping along China or via PI I will get a lot more advantage out of it than he will.

The Genie is out of the bottle he will reap what he has sown.

Decision made I am going to take a risk on the East Coast.

I am diverting 1st Aust Corps to the North to release a force to clear the rail line.

I will bring over a US Div and a 2 NZ Bdes to provide security.

Massing Fighters at Chengtu to stop his bombing campaign and going to advance in central China to try and distract him from the West.

OK a very interesting turn.

Japanese managed to shut down the AF at Perth again. I had shipped in a CAG but my elite nay pilots were shot out of the sky they never had a chance and the BB's finished the job on the AF.

Surely F4F's with 80 xp pilots should do better !!!! (I will remember this when I get F4U's)

In China the AVG got decimated with more elite Wildcats over Chunging. (In all I lost 90+ aircraft shooting down about 5)

Overasll not a good time for the allies.

I did try a few sneaky things my China AG above Changsa Hengchow crossed the undeclared border and managed to kick a small IJA unit of f of the X roads. Ill move on Hengchow with a blocking force moving towartds Changsa.

Hmmm ok playing in the Gilberts to see how good my position can get !!!

Not sure how long Perth will hold I could lose a full Div here very easily I cannot withdraw because he has cut the lines behind me.

The last few turns have been interesting.

He failed again north of Wuchow but his AV is getting closer to success and I am worried.

I have launched an all out distraction offensive in the North and East China its purely about distration no more.

My assault on Hangchow was defeated but I will keep up the pressure as my xp lkevels grow fast.

In the Gilberts I have sieved Makin and am bringing in more troops nothing huge but while he is away playing in Perth I am going to take advantage.

KB is there as was most of mini KB so I have to attack somewhere.

Lunga looks well protected so I am hitting the Gilberts. If he doesnt react soon I will try to grab Tarawa.

I have a Heavy surface TF and Hornet's TF at Palmyra refuelling I may bring them in to take Tarawa.

You can't send them cross country? What about sending other troops cross country towards them to change the zoc?

I just lost Nanning and 25k troops because I didn't notice that the hex to the west was Japanese owned 'J' [8|]
So 2 divisions couldn't retreat because of some invisible force field around my base. No wonder land combat gives
me the hickups....

If you set one of your bases as the objective the bombardments won't wipe out the movement as long as you've got an pathway that is under your control. (At least, that's how it works in v1.602...)

Good luck -
