Turn 23. May/June 1943. Allied #9.
Asian Theater. China (End of Impulse).
(1) Sian MIL moves into the city of their namesake to replace the Lanchow MIL lost last impulse.
(2) This brings the defenders of Sian back up to the max of 2 armies & 1 div.
(3) It'll be next turn before Japan can try again to take Sian.
(4) And this time without air support as they won't be able to oil any of their planes.
(5) Mao also positions two armies in and adjacent to Lanchow to protect that city and the flow of the RP over the silk row to the city's factory.

Re: GW Counterfactual Take 3.
Turn 23. May/June 1943. Allied #9. East Africa. Ethiopia.
(1) The allied strategy in Ethiopia has gone from one of conquest to one of containment.
(2) This strategy change is based on learning that in the conquest of Italy that Ethiopia cannot serve as Italy's new home country.
(3) And, Italy no longer controls any other country/territory that Italy aligned.
(4) Therefore, a surrender of Italy will result in the total conquest of Italy and demilitarization (i.e., removal) of all Italy's armed forces across the globe.
End of Impulse.

Re: GW Counterfactual Take 3.
Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it.
If you are ok with it, and if you ever have time, can you include a copy of your excel template in this AAR?
I'd like to update my version that I grabbed from you a while back. I only have version 8. Thanks
Version 7? wow... can't wait to be able to get a access to a post beta, almost ready for prime time version
. Just wish we could get updates on the forums on the alpha versions....

Re: GW Counterfactual Take 3.
Attached is my EXCEL spreadsheet as it stands currently for this AAR. I've made changes to that which I've yet to make to the "cleaned" out template. I plan to eventually clean it out and save it as the next version of the template. But that may be a while.Falken wrote: Mon Apr 15, 2024 11:50 pm Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it.

Turn 23. May/June 1943. Allied #11.
Actions.
Combine - USA.
Land - CW, Free France, USSR & China.
Eastern Front.
Siberian Fronts (End of Impulse).
(1) Strengthen river line defenses and moved forces from in the north (Kirov sector), south to address the Wehrmacht axis of advance shift (to the southern flank). Southern Fronts.
(1) UK use 1 of their 2 air missions to fly a naval air, extended range with the Stirling out to Caspian Sea[0]
(2) This freed up an FTC slot (for Wavell), which allowed for railing in an RSA inf corps from Persia.
(3) RSA inf was railed to Wavell's position.
(4) The extended range flyout to the 0-box was not necessary, but was done in order during RTB to be able to reach air bases in western Syria for redeployment to Italy.
(5) Soviet fronts respond as well as they can to try to fill the gaps in their Caucasus Mtn line. Asian Front. China.
(1) No movement by CCP.
(2) Both Nationalist div were flipped early in the turn so definitely no movement by them either.

Battle of the Atlantic (BOA).
(1) Due to action and combat priorities the Western Allies have been only able to replace 1 of 2 CPs in the West Med.
(2) The result of this is that the Cyprus RP and Glasgow factory are idle.
(3) The US, who took a combine, doesn't have any reserve CPs that can reach the West Med.
(4) However; they do have reserve that can reach the Mouths of the Amazon & Central Atlantic, which along with spare CP in CSV & BOB, can be used to transport the Trinidad oil to Glasglow.
(5) US moves PAN CP to MOA & US CP to Central Atlantic.
US & CW Production, Unused CPs (at Sea). Post CPs Moves.
