RE: THE THREAD!!!
A Chinese man in Hong Kong went to his doctor complaining of abdominal pain. Turned out he had a cyst on one of his ovaries.
Sounds like the setup for a joke, but it happened. He's 66 years of age, and the sixth person in the WORLD to be diagnosed with the combination of syndromes that he has. Literally one in a billion.

RE: THE THREAD!!!
Thanks, but my familial background is tilemakers and horse traders, so "Viking Dude" doesn't really apply...

Happy National Day, Viking Dude! [&o]
Thank you!
I'm a little miffed though ... you knew that it's our national day tomorrow (6th June) but you managed to miss my 50th Birthday on the 3rd ... [;)][:'(]

RE: THE THREAD!!!
Just to clarify - no one needs to feel bad about it. Birthdays have never been a big thing in our family, inluding the so called "big" ones. Actually, I'm more than happy that my friends, colleagues et al. respected my wish not to do some big "surprise" party in my honor. [:)]
Otherwise, turning 50 here in Sweden ususally entails having to throw some gigantic party involving everyone from kindergarden to your current colleagues. Managed to avoid that one [:)]
Will go to Mallorca in the Mediterranean on Friday for a one week vacation with my parents, sister+family. It might happen that we have some finer dinner there. Just like I want it to be.

I remember overinterpreting your 6/3 birthday last year, wishing you well wishes for your "Birthday" in March. [:D] Anyways, a belated Happy Birthday, Viking dude. [&o]

RE: THE THREAD!!!
... and to be a little more corrective;
It's really flattering that you call me "Viking dude". To be honest, you really should call T that, as the Danes and the Norwegians actually formed the heartland of the Viking territory [:)]

ETA; It seems my spelling is a little off tonight. Might be a little overconsumption of Ouzo.

Yeah, but T's already got a good nickname for his handle. And there's only irregular (aren't they all? [:'(]) Norwegian visitors to this here THE THREAD!!! So, therefore, you are *the* Viking dude. [:)]ORIGINAL: Grollub

Morning/evening guys. I still can't get accustomed to this time change. The ole body thinks it should be wide awake at 4am. Should be fun this afternoon. [8|]
