Any Threadsters looking for a PBEM oppo?

Sure. How about a short scenario? [:)]

Could do.

Coral SEA? Thousand mile war? Axis? Allies? Regular? Decaff? [:D][&:]

You guys are all doing the mating dance, and I'm getting jealous sitting by myself over here.  [:D]

Of course, I can barely keep up with my current PBEM agenda with Mynok.  [;)]

I'd go with either Guad or Thousand Mile for preference, but I'll do Coral Sea if you'd prefer. No preference over sides.

I'd prefer 1 or 6 ideally.

Steve, the whole point about monster games is that you open it up, set up all the pieces for turn 1, then read the rules. Did you never own Atlantic Wall or Highway to the Reich?

Nope. And nope![:D] I have very practical reasons for short versus long games at this time.1) In six weeks I move cross country, and that means at very least a couple of weeks disruption of computer access (not to mention being really, really busy).
2) when I play against a very experinced player (and I always want that) I figure that it will hurt less if I get my head handed to me after a few weeks of play (versus six months. Considering the number of times you've cleaned my clock , you should understand that). 3) I really don't completely understand all the in's and outs of this game (and won't for at least a year).

So I hope that you also might consider playing me another PBEM later in the year (maybe this summer if your dance card opens up).

I've been wanting a chance to learn from Dixie since I started reading this forum. Then Mynok,USS America, and Terminus! (OK ,fat chance , but I can dream , can't I?).[:D]

6?

Day after PH start, no whining about KB hanging around forever off PH. It's a more realistic start, probably the closest thing to an AFB-centred start [:D]

You want a low stress, no pressure , very small scenario that we can wrap up in six weeks? [&:][:)]

How about Thousand mile then? I'm always willing to play either side. But I'm generally more comfortable as the allies. [:)]

Fair 'nuf. I'll be Tojo for a while then, I'll have a look at the scen and get started when I've got a handle on things.

Yeah, you have to get permission to deactivate that ahead of time. I had a 2-3 day time out for that back when I started. [8|]

So why didn't I get a time out two months ago when I deactivated it then? [8|]
