I don't think you deleted all of the trackerdb*. files.

Close down tracker; look in the tracker folder and make sure you delete all of the trackerdb files.

Try again. Make sure if you are doing a multi-turn load that you don't have two files ticked that have the same turn / turn date. It doesn't check that logic.

BTW (for interests sake) how many turns did you have loaded before you decided to reinitialise the DB ?

Cheers

[edit] Actually having a look at that error more closely the minus values are very weird. Was this the same error as you were getting before you reinitialised ?

These errors lead me to believe that either the save file is corrupt or the reading routine couldn't get proper values. These large negative numbers to be inserted are for the air group delay, which can't be that large.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Hi guys,

Deleted all of the db files again and got this again.

floydg - You mean the AE save file is corrupted? If so I don't think so as there's no problems in me running AE.

n01487477 - no this is a different from the error I originally had which just stated something like there was a Java error?[&:]

I agree with Floyd on this one; it is either a corruption ... in which case send us the file to witptracker@gmail.com so we can see what's going on or wait a turn and see if it rectifies itself ... which it sometimes does.

Hi,

When you say send you the file. Do you mean AE save turn? Which file?

At present this error occurs every time now (tried for the past 15 turns) when I try to open Tracker.

How are the Manpower, Armament and Vehicle values formulated on the LCU production screen? Are they simply gaps from the TOE versus actual LCU values for on map units?

How are the Manpower, Armament and Vehicle values formulated on the LCU production screen? Are they simply gaps from the TOE versus actual LCU values for on map units?

It is much more complicated than that. The current Reinf Need LCUProduction numbers are not accurate at present whereas the Delay Need (delayed units) are accurate. I'll explain why shortly ...

The numbers take into account variables such as device type, load cost, anti-armour and anti-soft plus the number of devices. It is rather complicated but I can tell you the specifics if you really want.

The Reinf Need is not a true representation at present because it erroneously looks at disabled devices + destroyed devices.

The next version of Tracker will hopefully nail this down cause I've been working at it for the last few weeks.

Findings:
1. Disabled don't cost anything to repair.
2. Destroyed do.
3. Upgrades cost Arm/Veh but not manpower
4. The bill is paid as soon as a LCU reinforcments are turned on & the specific devices are created. But may take time for the devices to filter down to the lcu.
5. If there are not enough points in pool then it will continue to draw points until it's satisfied.
6. If there are enough devices when a lcu arrives, then there are no points drawn.
7. If there are not then as long as there are enough points - it should come fully equipped.
...
and some more I can't remember right off the top of my head about device replacement rates...

So in essence I'm working on improving this screen. I intend on looking at the sum need for each device .So InPool minus destroyed devices(lcu TOE device minus lcu device); and then use this number to calculate the reinfNeed for each device. A second calculation will look at the upgrades. A third calculation will look at reinf ON/OFF.

Should be the best attempt I've made at nailing down this area...

New update on the base screen. Added Load Rates (including NS for supplies) -- which I'll also use for TF screens and eventually a planning screen in the Ind tab... Oops need to include troops too ...

Also added Planes at base in brackets(). And will add stacking limits too.

Okay, I think I found and fixed this problem...
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Thank you for the reply and explanation Damian.

The Reinf Need was specifically what I was wondering about as they have played a larger role in my PBEM production decisions.

Gentlemen,

Is there any way to have airframe factory repairs show up in the Air Production tab when they finish complete repairs?? I want to have a way to go back to see if a factory of 30 or 60 (for example) has completely repaired and is now contributing developmental points towards the magical 100 points to move the production up one month. I have 150 Tojo fully repaired, but don't remember when each of the 3 factory had completed repairs and added points.

Thanks [&o]

Well you could find that information specifically from the base object history... but I'll consider including it later as we're getting closer to release everyday...

New LCUProduction screen almost finished ...

[*]changed top panel to reflect true costs (destroyed devices - Pool) = Replacement Points needed
[*]haven't implemented upgrades yet -- will do in later releases.
[*]took out calculated fields for middle screen and replaced with No.of Devices destroyed (and eventually upgrade will be there too)
[*]Bottom panel is more of a side by side with the TOE.

BTW ... this is turn One Grand Campaign ...
Thoughts before I send the code to Floyd after a bit more testing and tweeking?

Can I volunteer to test it ? [:)]

I will start in 2-3 days a campaign with DaBabes, and I maintain a copy of each turn in my computer....
