mildy footie related, but more about the importance of proper grammar. Unless of course this is really meant to happen exactly as written?

No, this is factually correct.

Mrs MacArthur has specifically stated* she wants a natural birth while lying astride 'The Rock'. I assume she means the British overseas possession and not......

* allegedly - although this may be total sloblocks..... [:D]

Somedays it is quite difficult to remain serious in these forums. [:D]

But it does tickle my humour.

Looks like Northern Ireland are going to win their group!!!!!

There were a few surprises for the Euro 2016 finals. Iceland and Albania, who would have thought that.
Still shocked about Holland, do they still have any chances of getting to the playoffs, I doubt that very much. Sad for the crazy dutch, as they really support their Oranje team, love to see the whole stadium in Oranjie colours.

...

at least she's not doing the deed at Hampden (which, since I live 2 miles away, I can confirm is a wee bit chilly) but in balmy Portugal ...

Albania at the finals is going to be interesting [;)]

Only that I feel sorry for Hungary - they should have won the World Cup in 1954 and then kind of disappeared from importance in the world game. Plus they have a stonkingly good kit - Deep red shirts, white shorts and green socks luv it!

Sweden is seeded, so out of Denmark, Ireland, Norway or Slovenia, I prefer Ireland.

well living in a Dutch-Scottish household that set of disasters met very different reactions ... the Scottish wing taking a good calvinist view that suffering is (a) intended and normal and (b) good for the soul ... the Dutch wing reacting as if a totally unexpected and unreasonable event had just occurred .. I liked then comment from a long suffering Scottish supporter on the BBC last night.

Holland have taken the view that if Scotland won't be in France, then they won't either [:D]

The difference in reaction might be because the Dutch has always entered the tournament while the Scottish have had trouble to do so for a while now. And the Dutch recently bagged the third place in the World Cup.
