Two more viewings of our house yesterday, and we expect an offer from the second group this afternoon.

Our weather has been great for a couple of months...nice and cool...getting hot now.. 100 three days in a row now. I've gone 38 40 40 36 that last four men's night for the month ever Tuesday. I hurt my back really bad swinging or something dumb...I have a very very long backswing and follow through...Im 6'7 and hit the piss outa the ball..so my back always hurts off and on. Haven't had time to go other then men's night and the tourneys for work. I would go every Sunday after church while the boys are down for a nap, but I'd rather nap too. I play men's night with my VP in a cary we bought for 300 bucks...hahaha so that's a lot of fun, our kids are the same age, and both of our wive's are stay at home mommies. My putter is a Ping that no one claimed at the pro shop when I was in high school...being out there everyday and knowing the owners, he said it was all mine for nothing. Best putter I've ever had. I've actually put away my new tech driver for an older Titleist that is a 7 degree...I hit it too high if it is over that..constantly changing up things..I can't ever make my mind up and I'm too tight to just go spend a couple hundred bucks on some new Burners or something..

Good to hear you're out playing. Enjoy that sunshine. I played football with a lot of buddies from out there and the just love that area and couldn't wait to get back home.

Keeping fingers crossed. Assume the first viewers didn't pan out?

Thanks, Andre. First viewers yesterday were a repeat, but no word on a pending offer from them yet. Still waiting to see if there will be a response to our counter on the first offer we received.

Well, I think the problem is education. If we can figure out how to better priority-ize our education, and get the men in charge to make better education, we can....[8|]

Ay yay yay...

Welp, gonna have to wait another month for the next computer game I want to play. Shadowrun Returns was supposed to come out in a week, and now it's going to be a month instead.

BUT I WANT IT NAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

That's a positive development, no? Repeat viewers within 24 hours? Must be pretty interested. Hurry up and get an offer, dernit! The suspense is killing us!

ETA: I remember 'sitting on' a listing during a full year 2008-2009. Trying to sell a house in an imploding housing market is just brutal. Absolutely brutal. I feel for anyone trying to sell a house in this time, even if the overall market is better than back then. Just.

Oh, dude, it's a very positive development. Despite me talking about it almost non-stop, the house has only been listed for 5 days. [:D] Things are moving along very well, IMO.

I do feel for you having to sell in '08-09. I'm sure glad we didn't have to sell then, and are only selling now because we want to. [:)]

Wait a minute. Shadowrun? As in the Cyberpunk-genre RPG popularized some twenty years ago? I was *big* into Shadowrun in college RPG circles. Would love a review of decent computer games on that genre, T.

'Twas brutal. Sat on a listing for 13 months. Price going down, down down to attract showings, let alone bids. Like taking $1800 a month, setting it on the kitchen counter and lighting fire to it. [shudders]...

Well. I was shocked to find out I didn't get the position I was going for....I just can't believe it.
Believe me, I know how you feel.. The last 5 1/2" years has been pretty tough. I've been on this job now for almost 5 months now. It seems now that I may be soon moving from part time status to full time. Even though I have been putting in full time hours. Just to be doing what I enjoy is great.

So hang in there, and keep pounding. You'll make the breakthrough you want.[:)]

The very same. I played it from 1993 to about 2006.

The computer game is being made by a company called Harebrained Schemes, led by Jordan Weisman (one of the original inventors of the pen-and-paper game). It's going to be the first proper Shadowrun CRPG.

And, how the vendor spent 45 mins with me on a webex meeting three weeks ago and couldn't figure out what was going on... and then just 10 minutes last week and fixed it in 10 minutes...
