I started with 16 teams in 1946 and have expanded to the 24 teams by the 1972 season.  I currently 2 leagues each with 2 divisions.  I downloaded the 1972 OOTP schedule from the OOTP link that Schedule King posted earlier in this thread.
 
I think the problem was caused by the Team IDs not matching after doing the expansion.  I did my first expansion in 1961 and then another in like 1968 and a third in 1970  Couldn't expand on schedule because of an earlier bug that is now squashed.
