BTW - This isn't because he also has "0" age. I have successfully imported players without a birthdate. It's definitely a first name issue. I spent many many hours testing it yesterday. It's a shame you won't be fixing the expansion draft logic. It works really well with 4 expansion teams. I can just expand at a slower pace for now.

Something has broken in the expansion draft logic.  In this career, I've done four expansions.  The first three drafts went fine.  I just did a 1977 expansion and all of the picks were "scrubs" while in the past, I've lost my best prospects.

I think the new aging model has caused players to drop off quicker than should be expected.  For example in 1976 the oldest pitcher in the majors is 36 and next is 34.  PSPN gives you the Top 20 and #20 is 30 years old and #19 is 31.

33sherman, what are you seeing?

haven't beeen able to play in a couple days, but looking now I seem to have at least a few older guys (up to 41 yrs old) still on major league pitching staffs. I haven't really been paying enough attention to notice if this has changed from before.

Something strange is happening. I went and checked my roster and noticed that I still lost 5 players. One was Tom Dixon who I signed to 3 year extension in the off season. He is currently a free agent and nobody has signed him. His transaction history shows no entry for the expansion draft, but he should still be on my team.

Shaun, I'm going to send you the backup from after the 1976 off season.

This is something that I see every single expansion draft. The expansion draft may show that my team had 3 or 4 teams drafted, when in reality I had the maximum of 5 drafted. So short of printing out my roster prior to the free agency draft, I have no way of knowing who the last couple of players were that were drafted.
