Way to go 06 Maestro! [&o]

Please, please- way to go for creating this great game. I would be looking for a new hobby if it weren't for COTA.[&o]

Yakstock looks like he had somewhat of a morale challenge with his Italian warriors. Nice AAR, Maestro. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks-it was my pleasure.

Maestro - Finally got through your AAR - fantasticly done. It was a great pleasure to read and a lot of fun to play. You are a very good player and on all our games it is always a challenge. Unfortunately I did not take any screen shots to add the other side of the story but you captured it all very well. My approach was to push as fast and as far as I could figuring I could isolate any by-passed units and try and secure ground before you could adequately defend it. It worked for a while but became a slugfest at your main line of defense. I was surprised at the good performacne of the Italian armor and learned a bit about how tiring it can be for the infantry to march great distances and jump right into battle. Some of the later reinforcements were not ready to fight in time when they reached the fron line.

Thanks for putting the AAR together - hopefully we can recruit more online players - I already see a trend since HTTR with more people playing online!

Nice job!

How long did it take to complete the 9 day scenario?

We banged this scenario out in three sittings. The 1st two phases took a little under 3 hours each. The last phase was about 2 hours IIRC. We had a 3 hour time zone difference which affected our game time. The three sittings were accomplished in 3 successive evenings.

Another shameful bump. The new players may find it interesting.

There are several very good AAR's from others which have slipped out of sight-I think I'll put them back up where those belong.
