Aren't you the guy who accused Oleg for being gamey????

Anyway, i do agree with you - you are tough opponent....
Yes, that was me. He used the KB on Dec. 7th to hunt and sink the US CV's, and then denied that it was any thing other than an fortunate accident.

So, imagine my surprise when "John Hawker" turns out to yet another of the seemingly endless supply of players from tiny Croatia.[X(]

So at that point, I had no choice, but to rededicate my life to teaching these Croat 'Japanese fan boys' a lesson in allied fighting spirit....[:D]

Ahhhh...unfortunatly for you few Croat Japanese fanboys arent playing the game anymore...
(or they just aren't active on the board)

Generally accurate, except I would add the contingincy that it also depends on how "gamey" your opponant is being. If 5 Jap Divisions are heading into Burma by the end of December, then feel free to bring in every Chinese you can find. If it's the historic two Divisions, then try to limit youself to a historic response.

Two divisions in the game are usually not enough because from the get go, Burma's historical-ness goes out the window because the Allied player starts prepping the defenses. In RL Burma remained one of the most un-prepped, unfortified places in the theater even as late as 2/42. I have one PBEM going where Burma has been turned into a fortress. It'll take more than two D's to wrest it from me and the game allows Central and Northern Burma to stay in decent or barable supply shape even when Rangoon is taken.

The initial Japanese invasion was two divisions, but the Japanese used a total of four divisions to take it. Two more divisions were sent shortly after the fall of Singapore.
