Hi Guys,
Im assuming you guys are talking about the combat summary windows that pop up as a small dialog over the map after the 2d strike screen has gone away. This is a summary of the results of each strike so far. It is linked to the gamelog. I think the reason they are disappearing is because you have the gamelog options set to hide messages after 5 minutes (the default setting). You can override this by selecting the gamelog strike entry (looks like a few red planes with a bomb) to view the strike summary - after manually selecting it, the window should stay visible after every 5 minute increment (until you close it by hitting the little close button).

Hi Alex. Great game and thank you for it!

I never have gotten the dialog screen after the strike screen is done. Is that where the "gamelog strike entry" is? I'm lost about this. All I have ever seen is that really fast flicker of what could have been a dialog box flashing me. [;)]

Most of the times I get the results box as a flicker. Sometimes when it's all over I get the box and it stays on the screen ???

Did you try what Alex said above? Where is this adjustment?

I think that you right click on the display (gamelog) and it brings up an option screen, but I can't remember if there is a option for that. I'll have to check later when I have the game up and running...

The window im thinking you guys are talking about is the combat summary one that looks like this

Image

And it may pop up for a second due to the window being autoclosed shortly after opening. The other way you can check if this is the case is by changing your default autoclose times for the gamelog by
1) right clicking on the gamelog (below the map), and changing the updown arrows which control the "Alerts Auto-Close After X Minutes" option - change that to 1 hour and see if that solves the problem.

Yep, that's the Puppy alright. I've changed to one hour and it doesn't help. Most of the time it slips by and once in awhile it will stay open ???

try stopping the clock and manually clicking on it's gamelog entry at the bottom of the screen.
